The room was full of fly's on arrival and had a disgusting smell.First night food we ordered was cold.Our second night there was nearly a mutiny as the food ordered by the the people in the restaurant area took one family nearly a couple of hours. We and another customer eventually cancelled ours after waiting an hour which by that time was nearly ten o'clock. Wonder why they took so many orders that they could obviously not cope with. The hotel should not be open until they have brought it up to the travel lodge standard. Didn't feel like I wanted to be in the room and never walked on the floor without my shoes on disgusting place.

Value for money, have stayed twice in recent months as a stop en route Eurotunnel and will stay again.
Rooms appear recently redecorated/carpeted.
Comfortable bed.
Strong shower and decent towels.
Friendly welcome at reception.
Dog friendly.
Easy 10-15 minutes walk to the Wharf, good bar/restaurant.

Hotel has no AC and is already very hot, as a hotel often gets having so many guests. Rooms overhang car park which is busy most of the night, as is the surrounding area with traffic and a very loud train line with regular trains passing. Wish this information was disclosed before booking as I would have chosen another local hotel. Hotel room wasn't the cleanest and bathroom looked mouldy and unclean. Robot cleaners evident around hotel which is clear by terrible cleanliness standards.

Stayed overnight for a visit to kent when it was boiling hot, the room had a table fan and openable windows which was all you could do to combat the heat needed ac as it was way too hot in the room, other than the heat the place was lovely and clean all for a good price

Service was good, location convenient and room fairly standard for a travel lodge. The room wasn't cleaned well, the toilet was pretty bad and the previous guests drink marks still on the bedside shelf. It is a bit noisy, road on one side and train tracks on the other.

In between Bluewater and Dartford is this travelodge, we started our journey from Rochester and it took 2 buses. It's the only Travelodge hotel we have visited, that uses punch card keys for the guest rooms. There was a door guard on at night, the corridor on the upper floor is the longest straight I have seen, it had 34 rooms and our bathroom had a bathtub.

Travellodge Dartford is home away from home. The hotel however is very strict about check in time not before 3pm. The room is clean and loaded with tea and coffee and a fan. No AC like most houses in the UK. There?s a Burger King next door so easy access to food. The train station is within a walking distance and there?s a green but stop in front of the hotel. Check it out but don?t come before 3pm to check in

Great location for the train. Staff were nice when they had been there. On one occasion as I was leaving there were no staff available. I waited over half an hour but no one turned up on reception.

Not a good experience. We arrived on a Sunday and there was nobody at reception. After maybe 10 minutes somebody showed up but they weren't very friendly or welcoming. And no apology for keeping us waiting. Not a good start. Things got worse when we got to the room. It looked like housekeeping left in a hurry and didn't finish. There were puddles of water on the bathroom floor and a wet towel on the rail. The toilet was dirty, even the seat. There was also what looked like a robot vacuum left in the room. When I went down to reception to complain, guess what? There was nobody there again. There were two more people waiting to check in so I just left it and decided to try to make the most of it. We cleaned the toilet seat ourselves and spread the wet towel onto the wet floor. We shared the one clean towel.
On the plus side the bed was clean and comfy, and there were a pair of extra pillows on the shelf.
There is a noisy trainline nearby so that's something be aware of.
Overall I just can't recommend this hotel.
