On a Friday I visited TGI Fridays and this goes straight to the management.
Ordered a 28£ New York Steak ? and a 20£ Fridays burger, excluding drinks.
Drinks were bottomless yet weren't offered a refill even though it did finish.
Steak ordered medium well, once received it was surprisingly small portion and was well done tag on it, we saw that at the end unfortunately. The burger patties were smashed yet had a burn taste, nothing I'm coming back for, specially modern days burger standards are quiet high TGI Fridays can't compete with a burger from the 2000s simply poor. Fries was great in my opinion.
Now waiters were nice yet we were asked maybe 3-4 times whether we ready to order drinks by different waiters and we said no we will get it with the food, quiet unorganized. And waiter who took the order wasn't the one who brought the food and wasn't the one who got us the bill, messy and makes tipping unpleasant. Was surprised no service fee was on the bill, rare these days.
But yeah generally lots of room for improvements for the premium prices, small details can be easily fixed. Some tables don't have enough light, some dim some bright, light weren't equally distributed.
Nice free desert at the end with scanning the bill. Overall for a 60£ dinner we expected more, specially the steak was a disappointment.
Now coming back again is doubted but might happen cuz everyone deserves a second chance.

Trina was amazing, very helpful and accomadating. Very smiley and made our visit very positive and we enjoyed our food too. Helped us move tables as we got a bit cold without making us feel like we were causing any inconvenience, also recommended something on menu and helped me personalise it. Was great, definitely recomend. If you go in there definitely ask for trina. ?

Staff very rude. Tried to use bluelight discount on our table of 4 (with a bill of over £100) and was told we could not as we had ordered our starters with a deal - when we asked to then pay full price on the starters and use our bluelight discount instead we were rudely told that was not possible. And then on top of that we were told we couldn?t split the bill ! Vegan burger below average and a very long wait for food even though the place was empty with only 3 other tables. Very disappointing.

Clearly there was an issue in the kitchen as it took over half an hour for food to arrive, and our very polite server came over twice unprompted to apologise for the wait time. When the food came, it was very obvious what had been waiting under a heater and what was fresh. Chicken strip sandwich was dry, lukewarm, chips were the same, sweet potato fries and onion rings were soggy and again lukewarm. Only hot dish was my daughter?s chicken pasta. Both cokes ordered also tasted odd, like it was the end of the post mix. Atmosphere was loud and even our server had trouble hearing us when taking the order. I?ve not been to a TGI?s for nearly four years? now I know why. Very underwhelming experience. Will not go back. Only gave 2 stars for the food because my children enjoyed their dishes.

How the mighty have fallen. TGI's used to be the leader in casual dining. Today, the food was bland, and the beef sandwich with dripping was embarrassing poor. Our waitress tried her best, but the lads bringing the food to the table just grunted. Should have taken more care when choosing where to eat today. Didn't get photos as was annoyed as was my idea to go there.

We haven't been back to a TGI in over 5 years and I must say this last experience will have us coming back again more regularly!! We like to say a big thank you to Katrina who made our time memorable. We need so many more like Katrina! She cared for us from the moment we entered, she recognised we had a special request on the booking and made us feel valued. She is knowledgeable on the menu and very skilled in all demains!! She even makes balloons for the kids. We overheard her speaking to her staff in the same polite manner! TGI Friday you have a real talented person here and I hope she feels so valued working for you, please don't let this lady go! We hope to return on another day where Katrina is working :) the food was DELICIOUS ?

Thanks Patrick! Really nice guy polite and great service all around. Helped use out with dietary requirements as I?m a vegetarian, he was not rushing me reading as I'm desylaix as he was very patient and waited until I finally picked. He also gave use lemon scented wipers for are hands what?s always handy when you are eating grub. And he was always on it and doing quick service. He was also decent and always made great conversation very bubbly and lovely.
My mum said he was wonderful and so polite. Lewis said he enoyed his bun hot dog.
