Ordered plastering sand from Crayford branch. Delivery was awful - driver couldn't comprehend that it is wrong to offload bulk bags of sand on drive instead of perfectly suitable grassy area where all other Selco deliveries used to be off loaded. After having to shout through doorbell camera he repositions the bags so they do not block the driveway... Sand itself is full of stones - plastering sand FULL OF STONES. Obviously cannot be used for the job the next day as I had tradesmen booked. I had to go to Wickes that evening to get plastering sand in 25kg bags for £5 a bag (perfect sand though - no stones at all). Called Selco branch and was told that they are aware that this particular batch of plastering sand has stones, but they never told me that and still sent the useless product out. I requested for sand to be picked up for a refund as it is useless to me. Pick up was booked for Tuesday - 4 days after delivery. No pick up on Tuesday, no pick up on Wednesday.... Called the branch and manager tells me sand will get picked up on Monday. The whole experience is just AWFUL.

I like and use Selco almost every day. I like the crayford branch but now avoid it in favour of the Sidcup and orpington stores simply because there are no customer toilets available at the crayford branch.

My favourite branch!Yeh obviously sells the same stuff but staff are the best here.Helpful, attentive, professional and polite.Jenny is amazing and will try and help you with better deals on large orders
