I made an order with SCS on a Saturday when I came home I was going through the reviews which alarmed me(they were about the delivery date) I therefore did not want to go through with my order as I was not satisfied with the company. I went back to the store on Monday and was told I am unable to cancel order as it's part of the T&C's which wasn't made clear when placing the order I then opt for cheaper sofas as my original order was for over £3000 made the amended and at no point was I told that there would be a difference in the delivery time bear in mind this was only 1 day and a half difference from the original order (including Sunday which isn't a working day). I have now received an email stating my order will be delayed by three weeks when placing the order I stated that i needed them by first week of February for my daughter's birthday. When placing the order the sales manager stated that order may be deliver before the estimated date he didn't mention any delays. I rang to cancel my order on this basis and was then referred to the store which wasn't helpful in the start with to be told I am unable to cancel the order but they can speak to the regional manager. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY they mislead their customers, give bad customer service and are not to the point with anything everything is done discreetly and they give false hope.I would never recommend anyone to go here - take your business to DFS as they are straight to the point with everything.

Beautiful sofas and carpets, ticks all the boxes for beauty and splendour and fit. And the staff - very professional, likeable, and courteous - Larry and Sean were exceptional! I'd gladly recommend a visit to ScS again and again...and they've got great deals too.

After 2 years of searching I finally found the sofa for me! The no pressure salesman were also really helpful and genuinely gave relevant, good advice!!!

I have booked the carpet with Dartford Scs and suppose to get delivered today after waiting two weeks and no ones turn up and once we come toThe store they said sorry we didn?t booked you in and they already charged me. The person from salesman called himself manager his name is ( larry ) and we find out he was lying and then they call some one else and he called himself a manager his name was (ABU ) but he wasn?t a manager even completely rubbish never gonna come back to SCS and never gonna recommend to some one.Very unprofessional staff

Won't recommend to anyone. Go to the other carpet stores in the Dartford area.My carpet was supposed to be installed on 16th of June and no one turned up and they didn't bother to inform me. I visited the Dartford store to find out and was told that the new date will be 30th of June without giving me any satisfactory reason. I told them that I removed the carpet and underlay on the 15th of June as per their requirement. And I have kids running around the house and they can be injured by the nails and also the stairs are slippery. But they excused themselves and said that the 30th of June is the earliest date.Today I received another call and was told that the carpet can't be installed on 30th of June because the fitter got injured. And now the earliest possible date is 9th and 10th of July. Now I have lost trust on them, although they said that they will give me some incentive after the installation of the carpet. But by reading the comments and reviews here, seems like they don't keep their words. Can't cancel the order as well because they charge 25 percent, Although it is not my fault.I am trying my best to keep my kids safe but if my kids get injured by those nails or the slippery stairs who's fault it would be?Also I have to delay the delivery of my furniture again.Utterly disappointed with them and won't recommend to anyone.

I am really saddened to hear that a sales guy Abu took full advantage of a family member In the dartford store? a family member whom was with her has recently had a stroke and they become confused and went to the car I feel Abu took advantage of this situation on a vulnerable couple. Abu was told on more than 6 occasions that add ons where not to be added to an order but still he added this on and purposely did not put an email address down so no invoice was sent so he would get commission on added extras .. unlucky for him this was chased up by a family member to customer services whom apologised and stated it would be removed - Abu then phoned the landline STILL trying to sell them added extras offering them discounts and was again told multiple times NO!! This is not acceptable if someone says NO it means NO you do not lie on an invoice to get commission.. I hope SCS take this matter seriously as preying on the vulnerable is not acceptable and quiet frankly absolutely atrocious!!

I would strongly advise anybody planning to shop at SCS Dartford to avoid it at all costs. We went into the shop to buy a carpet and was given a cost based upon the measurement that we were given we were also told there was free fitting. They arranged for someone to come out and measure up the area for us who told us that it had gone up by £20 over what we were quoted as we needed a bit more carpet. This wasnt an issue, we were told that someone from the branch would call that day or the next to take payment.3 days later no call from the branch so I called the branch (you don't get put through to the branch you get through to a call centre) , they arranged for the branch to call. I received a call later that day and they were trying to put the cost of the carpet up by £89 not eh £20 I was told on the measure up. I was told that they manager would call me in 20 minutes to go through it with me, no call that day.Phoned the store (got the central call centre) the next day and explained that nobody had returned the call, promised a call back again, no call came. Called again and eventually spoke to the manager who came out with lots of additional charges that needed applying to try to justify the extra cost which happened to be the exact amount of the fitting cost.The fitting isn't free they hook you with the cost they give you, make you pay a deposit and then put the cost up by the fitting charge. A complete rip off and should be investigated by trading standards.

My sofa was delivered at the beginning of January we noticed that there was gaps between the seats and the back and sides, so big that you can put your arm down there the 3 seater is definitely not put together properly we complained and they said that someone would come and look to see what was wrong nearly 2 weeks went by when we had 2 men turn up who were told by scs that the sofas needed putting together they looked at our sofas and said that we should just ask for a replacement so my wife then phoned them again and this time we were told that a technician would have to come and have a look at it and if he says it needs replacing then it would be 6 weeks have gone by and there technician came today and told my wife that there is nothing wrong with the sofa apparently it's normal for you to be able to put your whole arm down through the gaps and he said that the previous people who came didn't work for scs well if that's the case who were they I'm actually pleased I was at work when this person came I think the service is disgusting

When picking and then later purchasing the sofa the staff were extremely helpful, making the experience both easy and worthwhile.When the sofa arrived the delivery men worked efficiently and assembled the sofa quickly making it very easy for us.Finally sitting in the sofa felt great, softly sinking in with the recliner up while watching the TV was perfect.Definitely worth it, I would easily recommend both the sofa and SCS for making the experience positive and hassle free.

Absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service from the store manager at the Dartford Branch 17 weeks I've waited for my sofas to be delivered....
