BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!!!!
PCN Car Park ~ The wording of the ?Parking for free up to two hours? is ONLY when you spend £10 or more in store. I?m not a local, and read the sign completely wrong, and sadly, received a £100 PCN. Honestly, these car parks need bigger signs, with bold clear font stating how the car park works, with clarity of how much you have to pay, if you have to pay, and how long you can stay for free before you have to pay both in the car park, and as you enter when driving in etc. Not impressed at all.

Never needed to pay for parking at a supermarket before. Received a £100 fine and the store were not helpful. They just said 'the signs are obvious'. I arrived tired and later in the day so I did not see any warnings about paying for parking. Never coming here again.

Very small for what it is, the items themselves are good and of good quality, the problem is the staff, they are rude, unhelpful and down right aggressive at times, if you use the self checkout expect to be treated badly.

Fined, didn't notice you had to pay for parking. Since when do Supermarkets in the area charge for parking. Will avoid

Ample parking and great shop. Con for me is that you have to put a coin to get a trolley. I didn't take a coin as it is not needed at my local Sainsbury's.

Not as big as some, so reduced lines available. OK other than that. Carpark is pay by card ONLY!

Popped in at 7:30am on Saturday to buy my breakfast. Upon arriving home, I'd realised I was supposed to pay the parking charge, which began at 7am instead of 9am as it was previously. I returned to the store at lunchtime offering to either pay for the parking or spend the £10 required to activate the 2 hours free parking (I was only there for 20 mins that morning). Staff said if I purchased a parking ticket and £10 worth of goods I would be refunded. The ticket machine would only let me purchase a £15 all day parking ticket. When returning to the store with the £15 parking ticket, customer service told me that if I spent £10, I would only recieve £3 back. All they kept saying, repeatedly, was "well, it does say on the sign" despite my arrival being in dark, foggy conditions and the sign being completely out of the way of the entrance with a tiny font, making no effort to apologise for the misunderstanding despite them being the people who led me to believe I would be refunded. I find this to be really dismissive, and frankly, quite rude.
While this was going on, my partner had gone in store to buy household items but is not familiar with this store, so had to ask a member of staff where an item was. She was told "I can't talk right now" by staff and half-heartedly pointed in a general direction of the item and had to walk around the store multiple times to find what she was looking for - this was also rude and dismissive.
These events angered me to the point where I was not in a fit state to drive home, and I had to take five minutes to compose myself and calm down.
I have raised this issue with the Sainsburys complaints/customer service team online, as it has effectively costed me £21 plus petrol to make an omelette, and the online staff didn't seem to care about my poor experience in-store either, offering no solution and blaming the council car park and not their staff, who led me to believe I would be refunded. I had a similar issue with Aldi (Swanley), who were fantastic and immediately rectified the issue on the spot. I will not be coming back here again and will be taking my custom elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Pay car park, though refunded but you need to go to customer service desk, long queue at times!

We had problem scanning our nectar card (barcode wear off), one of the employees took our card and slide it on the card reader, that helped. Two days later someone stole 5000 points of our nectar account in other store in south London. We contacted Nectar Card operator and no response. It is strange to me theft happened day after Sainsbury's employee slided our card through card reader. I don't trust this shop anymore
