I actually placed an order here only to walk out as the service was so appalling I asked for an extra shot of espresso although I have a subscription they tried to charge me.

We had a nice sandwich, light snacks and coffee there. Luckily we managed to find an empty table because it was pretty busy.

I visited Pret A Manger whilst on a shopping trip in Bluewater shopping complex. This was my first visit to the Pret A Manger food chain and it will probably be my last. The reason for this decision is the very low standard of food or product identification. I wanted something light to eat for lunch and I am not keen on eating too much bread so I chose a pre-packed salad. After I had bought and paid for the salad and started to eat it but after delving down into the salad I discovered that the dish was a Chicken salad. As a longtime Vegetarian I found this very distressing. I called the branch manager and she confirmed that the prepackaged salad was a chicken salad. The packaging contained no indication that the product was a chicken salad and unsuitable for Vegetarians. Without argument the manager replaced the salad with a non meat choice. I inspected the labelling very closely but there was no clearly printed dietary advice. The contents information that the packaging did have was so small that it was illegible, this caused the problem for me in the first place. Pretty A Manger were in the national news quite recently over a similar but more tragic case in which a young woman with food alleges died because of inadequate product labelling. I didn't die but I will never frequent Pret A Manger again and I advise others to be very careful about what you choose if you do shop at Pret A Manger because there standard of product identification in terms of product ingredient identification and dietary suitable is very low or even non-existent. You have been warned.Vegetarian options: See my main review. There were no indication on the packaging to indicate the suitability or otherwise of the product to any given dietary requirements.

Unfortunately Pret isn?t what it used to be. The service is better! But the food is just terrible ?Quality has dropped drastically, bread isn?t the same even the chocolate pot tastes different! That?s because I believe they have started to use cheeper ingredients and the ethos behind the company isn?t there anymore.I ordered the mozzarella and roasted tomatoes toasted. It wasn?t cut in half! There were peppers in it that were the ends of bits of peppers the so called roasted tomatoes were sun dried tomatoes and the whole thing wasn?t good at all. To top it all the coffee was not hot. It was cool enough to just drink like water. Oh and while I went off to get cutlery, the staff went to remove my tray and food.
