This is a Poundland, you get what you see, items don't cost a pound anymore and are in fact a lot of the times the same or more expensive that other major retailers, the tills are often slow or even slower than that, shame the idea was good once.

Slow service, most of the time only 1 person on tills, multiple times I've ended up just leaving all my items in the basket and leaving, they should never of got rid of the self service tills.

Went in earlier today haven't been in a while and they are having work done to the whole shop, what gets me they are still open while this is happening they need to have the whole shop closed while having a refit it's to much for them and the customers, they have got rid of self service and now only got normal tills I stood in the queue for 10 mins waiting to be served. I won't come back now until they have completed everything because at the moment it's to much.

Staff need to be trained on how to read an ID. Scanned a Redbull in self checkout (restricted item, minimum age to purchase is 16). I handed my ID over to a member of staff who was very confused on whether or not I was allowed to purchase it! (I'm 17, my date of birth clearly shows that I'm 17) ended up being interrogated and the member of staff had to get another colleague! Staff clearly need retraining!

There's a particular member of staff in this shop that is very rude. Older, grey hair, glasses, very thin build. Disgusting behaviour, shouldn't work in customer service.
