This store is an absolute mess! The stock is not organised on the designated shelves, and the aisle numbers on the timber are a complete mystery. On top of that, today the cashier charged us for 2 bulk stock items instead of 2 single pieces (among other things in the same order). After receiving the receipt, I noticed the mistake and politely pointed it out, asking for a refund. To my surprise, the staff member told me she didn?t know how to process a refund, and her colleague couldn?t help either because he didn?t know how to do it as well. Instead, I was told to ?call the helpline customer service? to get my money back. Honestly, this shop is one big joke.

Delivered in front of the building, on the pallet , had to take my self 20 packages of wood flooring to the flat?.
Call them to come pick up the pallet, never return the call or come back to picked up?
Kind of rude delvery driver.
Useless delivery service.

I have placed a delivery with them and they promised 2 days delivery and it has been 9 days now and still they do not know when they going to deliver terrible
Not going to shop from B & Q and trade point never in future worst service

It feels really sad to post this review because I saw a lot of missed opportunities that B&Q as a company could use to get better at customer service but I mean I can only do what I can which is to post a review which might help others. I previously cancelled a click and collect order bought with a gift card and was given a credit note to redeem in-store, I came in-store and was next to be attended to on the queue, the lady ahead of me had some payment issues at the till and we (myself and the queue that had built up behind me) were waiting for about 15 mins. The colleague on seat tried severally to get help from another colleague until a lady, Ocean came in to help. I was redirected to Ocean who was now serving the previous customer (with payment issues) and she redirected me to the Click and collect desk. There was no one there and I had to wait for another 10mins. Ocean did her very best, and kept reaching out via radio for an extra help as the queue was building up. It's sad that an issue that seems like pattern and regular occurrence cannot be addressed at the source (maybe short-staffed, colleague attitude, the radio might not be working properly, etc). Eventually, a colleague, Connor arrives and redirects me to the trade point desk where he and his colleague + some others who joined were having banter. I found it baffling that staff on the other end were inundated with customers while they were here, not bothered and chatting away. I felt sad for Connor because he represents the average mentality out there who get used to mediocrity and dysfunction and even celebrate it. He was making jest of his colleague, Ocean (and myself indirectly) that the credit note value was just £9 and Ocean his colleague kept radio-ing everyone for help at the time. I'm not sure if B&Q will take this up because I imagine this will be one too many complaints about bad customer service and poor staff attitude but people like Connor shouldn't be at the front of desk with such attitude, their attitude trickles down to those around them (colleagues, family members, their kids, etc),. Most times than not, they remain in the job for awhile dishing out subpar service experience to the average public.

Twice have bought from b&q online, once for home delivery, once for in store collection. In both cases it was a mess, with a shed delivered on the wrong day completely blocking access to two houses. For the collection of a gas bottle, they confirmed they had stock, took payment, told me to collect, then cancelled, refunding several days later.
In both cases they refused to publish reviews, so take reviews on their site with a pinch of salt

Paul at the Dartford B&Q is phenomenal. When we went to get some tiles we found on the website, we couldn?t find it in the store. When we asked Paul if they had it. He went around the shop for over 2 hours and contacted us on the product when he found it. He was great at accommodating our needs as fast as possible. He also was kind and respectful to us.

Ocean at the B&Q Dartford branch is a superstar! I was running late and about to miss the cutting service deadline, but Ocean kindly accommodated me, keeping the service open until I arrived. Her exceptional customer service, flexibility, and willingness to help are truly appreciated. Thanks, Ocean, for saving me!

I ordered online but was not delivered on time. Didn't even call or send a text that it will be delayed. Call Dartford but the one who answered not friendly enough to explain about what happened. What a nice service!!!

I ordered and paid for a product that was not delivered. Asked for a refund and just going round in circles with Customer Services. Got a funny feeling I am not going to get my money back. Something going on here and it is not nice.

Ordered a ton of aggregate for delivery, got given a morning time slot on Tuesday so arranged to have people to help unload. Order didn?t arrive during the slot, rang the call centre throughout the day who couldn?t give me any info on where it was or what was happening, despite my account saying it was ?out for delivery?. Rang again the following morning, was told it will now be coming the following day Thursday. No courtesy call to let me know the order would be delayed, no explanation or apology, spent over an ho it throughout the day to their call centre. Absolute joke
