Brilliant to see a broader range of groceries in stock these days, plus more variety of fresh fruit and veg too. My kids were delighted by the pomegranate and apricots! Service from Jules and her team always very friendly too. Thank you! Keep it up!

Me and my partner went there for lunch great friendly staff Daisy was absolutely fantastic and the bacon and sausage baguettes were bang on and the coffee was good too not forgetting the Almond croissants lovely friendly staff will definitely stop there again Thanks

Found this little gem today, was very welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Fantastic selection of food and wines. Had a cheeky coffee and jacket potato which was delightful. Would highly recommend

A lovely little village shop with a variety of things on offer. Only downside is their date checking just had my lunch roll (takeaway) and had to throw a lot of the meat out of it due to very large patches of mould on it.
This is not a regular occurrence on the whole but has been increasing a little recently.

As a local who uses the shop and cafe regularly, I know the staff in the cafe would never have sold a mouldy product. The cafe has a 5 star food hygiene rating which clearly speaks for itself. The staff are always happy and very welcoming. It?s my favourite place for coffee and cake. I?m looking forward to the new summer menu they?ve told me about.

Nice little shop for essentials. Don?t forget to try the pastries and the coffee, DELICIOUS. Staff very friendly and the little post office is very handy daily needs. Love this shop.

I have to say I was made to feel very welcome at this cafe today. The Bakewell tart I had there was totally delicious too! Luckily I managed to avoid the grumpy member of staff so many of these reviews talk about, she must have been having the day off ?

Found this place a 5 minute drive from the Beneden Hospital, I had a great tasting cappuccino coffee and fabulous slice coffee cake while sitting outside watching the world go by.
Staff also very pleasant and welcoming, highly recommend a visit.

I googled this place as a stop over on route to somewhere and needed an early opening place and love to support businesses like the Benenden Community Cafe. I arrived at about 8am on a Saturday to find it closed. The two staff on site preparing to open stated it opens at 9am. When I stated the website says 7.30, one staff member chose to laugh and say the website hasn't been updated. I didn't appreciate being laughed at due to the company's lack of ability to keep information current. Please update your site. A lesson for me is to ring places in advance and not rely on their website !!
