We came across this pub after getting lost and was pleasantly surprised, they managed to find us a table even tho it was fully booked for eating. We ordered a roast (Sunday) and was nice and tasty, the pub was clean, the service was great and very welcoming, outside space was fab, there is plenty to choose from on the menu and the prices were reasonable too.

Hi I can?t thank Demi and Paris enough for their hospitality. Not only did they welcome me with smiles but actually interacted with why I?d chosen the Wheatcheaf but fully engaged with the outcome of the sport I was watching.
Will become my local.

Waitresses friendly and obviously trying there best, felt a bit sorry for them, but puddings took an hour and a half to arrive, we have young children who kept asking where their ice cream was, also made it very late getting home way past their bedtimes, food was fine and reasonably priced but just took far too long

Please get someone to sand down table 22, or get rid of it. We sat down at the table and it was incredibly sticky. I found a spray and cloth near the bar, so tried to give it a clean, and it was no better at all.

The food was great I had the pie and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and delivered fantastic service even though they were busy, especially Demi who was extremely professional and welcoming. Will definitely be dining there again ??

We recently celebrated my father-in-law?s 70th birthday with lunch here. The whole team were incredibly accommodating for the whole party ranging from 70 years old to 3months. We had a great table with plenty of space set aside with excellent views of the play park which entertained the children endlessly. The menu was full of solid pub fare with some excellent specials which were enjoyed by all. It made for an excellent meal to celebrate the big occasion.
