We were recommended the Chestfield Barn from a colleague and we are so glad they did. An off the cuff visit to Herne Bay with the intention of a meal while we were out. Food was very nice indeed, the staff were genuinely wonderful and the atmosphere was just lovely, a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be back.

First time visiting today as wanted to stop somewhere for a meal on the way home. A quick Google search flagged Chestfied Barn as highly rated so gave it a whirl. Was not disappointed. Thank you Chef Chris and the staff for the amazing Lamb pie and Filthy Fries. Food was truly amazing and the service was 10/10. Both myself and bro can highly recommend The Barn in Chestfield.
The Barn offers everything from classic to gourmet food, with an envied selection of drinks & fine wines. In winter, enjoy the warmth of our cosy interior with its open log fire and in summer, just soak up the atmosphere of the lovely garden with its Koi Carp pond and our amazing York stone table. We encourage getting in touch to book a table to save any disappointment for dining inside. Please note that outside tables are on a first come, first serve basis and can't be reserved. We welcome dogs in our downstairs bar area.
