What a fantastic place, not only is it down the most beautiful cobble streets next to an amazing castle, the food is out of this world and the owners are incredibly kind and friendly
I really recommend anyone coming here from near and far, it?s well worth the journey.

Beautiful area and pub. Lovely garden and space in the summer months, ducks wondering around the garden while sipping away on a beer. Staff always friendly and the food (quite pricey) is always fresh and on point.

Booked a table for 4 for my wife's birthday, with our kids, turned up and they said they not got the booking. We had proof of the call on the mobile. The older dark haired bar maid was very dismissive and not at all apologetic about their mistake, and did not offer to sort something out. Literally the worse customer service we've ever experienced in the local area.

I had a meal at the Tudor Rose last Wednesday evening.
I had a steak and stout pie with a selection of veg. The pie was one of the nicest I have had.

Excellent Sunday Lunch, reasonably priced. Excellent service. Landlady most welcoming and friendly as were all the staff. Great atmosphere and surroundings. Highly recommended.

Went to the Tudor Rose with my father in law one Saturday. We didn?t book and turned up just before the kitchen closed which was a shame but the staff were very nice and told us light bites would be available shortly. They came out with the menus as soon as we could order and the food came out quickly and was very good. We spent quite a few hours there and really enjoyed it. Amazing location, pretty pub, big beer garden, highly recommended.

My third time visiting and the food has never dissapointed. My inlaws love coming here. A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Rudest staff I've ever come across in a pub! Especially near an attraction. I went in the pub around 2:45 (website says kitchen closes at 3) and asked if I could order a baguette. The barmaid told me the kitchen was shut so I couldn't order. I was on my own and wasn't looking for hot food, so I couldn't see the issue. I didn't say anything to her and waited for her to take my drink order instead. She walked out of the bar area out the back and just left me standing at the bar for a good 5 minutes, so I left and went to the Kings Arms. Staff much more friendly and amiable

Best service I?ve had in long time.Roasts typically have something that lets them down but this was truly delicious. Also the staff were brilliant, warm to my 5yr old and very friendly.Would recommend!
