Use this all the time, most of the staff are helpful.
If stock is not on the shelf you do need to ask as its can be locked away.

For a few decades I?ve used this store, for major jobs and minor.
Reason for this is it?s easier to park than other stores of this type and the trollies are easily accessible.
The store is set up very well and unlike other stores they don?t tend to move items to other isles, leaving you searching for them.
I walk in knowing what section to walk to and get what I need. The isles are wide enough to navigate and not a hardship or ordeal to shop.
My only gripes are that some staff over the years have been rude sometimes, a young man on the till dropped my items from heigh into a bag I was holding aggressively, to the point it jolted my shoulder each time? Also obviously there?s only two main tills, so when it?s busy in store, you?ll have to queue.
Many people also drive out the car park the wrong way instead of following the one way route, which isn?t the stores fault, just an observation.
Overall product wise I?ve never had any issues, so from my personal experience I recommend this store.

You?d think they sweep the car park for nails and screw. the amount of punctures i get in this place and there?s no compensation what so ever. also NO cameras, considering you get people flying around in the carpark. my car has been scrapped down the side with what i assume is one of the trolleys.

Wickes is a place to go for general building materials. I purchased some timber battens this visit and I am happy with the quality.
