The Chatham Sports Direct store is just too cramped and they?re squeezing in so many items that it?s too cluttered. Very tight to navigate and browse, especially when other people are in close proximity or the store is busy. No idea how a mobility scooter would navigate the mens section?
Product wise, lots of choice and reasonable prices. Sometimes there?s deals to purchase two of the same item at a discount.
Last time I was shopping here I saw some tracksuit bottoms I liked and approached the till, I was lucky as there was no queue, sadly there was also no one at the til to allow me to buy my items. After a few minutes of waiting I put my items on the counter and left the store.
Maybe they were short staffed on this day but not ideal for customers.
Some nice items in store and worth browsing once in a while.

Wanted to change slippers as the size was wrong. They don't do refunds. They do exchange, but I wasn't aware. The exchange item was bought. And they would refuse to accept even change. Spoke to manager. Got no help.

The service I received today was honestly 10/10, a special shoutout to Abraham. I needed last minute trainers for a hike I?m doing tomorrow and he went above and beyond to find me a suitable pair that was fairly priced. Thank you ??

I placed an order online and paid £5 for delivery, my order was due for collection on the 13.10.2024 and 3 days later I have had no update on my order. I have tried to call the store over 10 times but the staff are to stupid to understand how to pick a phone call up. Won?t be buying from here again

I wanted to buy a pair of trainers. They were priced at £37 & £22. When I queried having to pay the higher price the cashier said that the cheaper label was from head office. I explained that I should pay the cheaper of the two prices, but he said that he couldn?t.I asked for the manager, and he said that he had 24 hours to remove the cheaper labels, which he did from the box I had. He also said that they were getting lots of these from head office, and that someone had not checked the boxes.He refused the sell them at the cheaper price saying that it was too much of a drop.Very disappointing!!!

Good afternoon! 06/23/23 - bought work shoes for £34.99, put them on after 3 hours, walked on the carpets in the apartment and found that they were a size larger... 06/29/23 came to the SPORTSDIREKT Chatham store with a receipt and shoes I wanted to exchange for a smaller size but I was refused because I don't have the box. When purchasing shoes, the box did not fit into my bag and the cashier guy offered to leave the box after paying with the card - I did so (naively)... I humanly told the store administrator about this incident and misunderstanding, told him that I did not need the box, change and everything is fine, but I was politely sent. What is the question, this is done in an elementary way - they just don?t want to bother, refuse at the checkout and make a new sale and add 2 digits on the box with a marker... For the first time in my life, I am faced with such a situation that due to incompetent or inexperienced or poorly inspected employees - customers suffer, and the company loses customers in the future...
