Halfords Chatham fitted the lights in my car incorrectly. I was not aware of this until I took my car for MOT and it failed because the headlamps were fitted incorrectly. Report from MOT test says ?headlamp aim projected beam image is obviously incorrect?. Also for the other headlamp it says ?aimed too high?.I DO NOT RECOMMEND HALFORDS FOR REPLACING LIGHTS. THEY WILL MAKE YOUR CAR FAIL the MOT.If you want your bulbs replaced, please find another mechanic/garage to do it.

Ross is as doing a great job today servicing lots of vehicles today on a busy Saturday in Chatham!Only dropped one star because on the website you say you have 2 services. One is drop in and wait and one is where you can book a certain time slot. It became apparent that you only really have one service which is drop in and wait your turn. Which is fine they were doing a great job and I was seen promptly. So no criticism of the staff in store, it?s just frustrating when the website isn?t accurate. I would rather know up front what the system is and allow a little more time. Thank you ?

Jay (I?m pretty certain that was his name) guy with cool tattoos, was so so sooo helpful! He managed to help me with my car when it was last minute and I was in a rush definitely be going back to him in future, never used Halfords before (first time for everything!)

Bit rubbish. Walked here after getting a puncture and the guy directed me to the emergency puncture repair kit. Bought it and think it was a dud, cause the it wouldn't turn to on and when it did, the foam started coming out the top. Filled up the tyre as best I could, but it only worked for a few seconds. Went back to halfords and they were stumped and just told me to go to a tyre place. Luton tyres managed to sort it for me.

Amended my booking a whole two weeks before required time. Then got a reminder text from them for the wrong day. I called to confirm that this is incorrect and my booking ON THEIR WEBSITE is showing the correct day. Representative had the audacity to say that they don?t control their website????no concern whatsoever. Couldn?t reschedule in time for MOT expiration even though it was all pre planned as i require my car for work. All they care about is getting your bookings and taking your money, not about the actual inconvenience to people?s lives.

My husband went in Chatham store today and a very helpful young man called Rob deserves a lot of praise. He helped my husband replace the battery on his key fob and spent a lot of time checking the correct oil for my car. He was very attentive, polite and a credit to the Chatham store

Went in yesterday to get headlight bulbs replaced for Audi A1 2011. Got a pair, paid for them and paid 18.99 ? !!! for fitting. Waited for 15min only to be told that they can't change them ? Couldn't give me a proper reason. "Not worth doing" - is what they said. Maybe they should check if they CAN fit them First before charging for fitting! Went to my local garage - they replaced both for FREE. Took them 10min, all they had to do is undo 3 screws and replace the bulb.
