Rated four stars personally as I love games/gaming, plus used to work in the gaming industry.
Sadly this store has slowly become a toy store/t shirt store dedicated to games. Copious amounts of products that are not games but vaguely represent themes from gaming.
Digital Downloads killed the Gaming store. Sad but true.
I used to love the actual physical game in your hand and queuing to get your hands on the biggest releases.
The store is just cluttered with a multitude of items and the games around the edges of the Store now. Sad how times change but life moves on.
If you need a lamp or t shirt dedicated to gaming it?s the place to go.
The store has a lovely feel to it and great lighting, a lovely atmosphere but probably a nostalgic feeling, for me nowadays.
Lastly years ago the staff used to approach you and ask what you was looking for but nowadays there?s les staff and I?ve not been approached during popping in, multiple times. The staff just sit behind the counter.
Hopefully a company will make the best home entertainment system ever and make it cartridges only to bring back stores like these?lol.
Not going to happen.

I'm not really a fan of this shop as it's known to overprice things, and the game selection is quite low for a game store.

It is a real shame what is happening to this once great company, half the shop is selling none video games and the other half will be soon even less because in February they won't even have pre-owned games, so what is the point of game anymore, Smyths sells new games for cheaper and cex does pre owned what is left for game.

Miserable vibe , always looks cluttered, customer service doesnt exist past the till they refuse to move from so you gotta know what to look for abd expect to dig it outOrdered a item for collection and despite there being numerous stock on the shelf i was told id have to wait up to A week for my collection to arrive despite it being on the shelf so could of took away today . All i got was attitude and a muttered comment as i walked off from the green haired excuse of a manager

i when down games today to get xbox series x and it is £743.76 for £31 a month and your paying on klarna. when you have no job and the cost of living go up who have the money for that no one now i can't play halo on the xbox series x thanks for nothing ? ?

Sorry to say they only had 2 deals with the series x I ended up buying 3 extra games for £60 to find that they's was on game pass. Could have asked if I was on game pass and informed me paid ,£550 as I wanted sf6 surely they could of added the game with the console and made a better deal.
