Slow service despite staff walking round doing nothing

This store is like the Tardis from Doctor who, it looks big from outside but when you enter it?s absolutely massive.
(Wouldn?t want to Hoover this place)
Went to buy a Smart Tv and my Son and myself wasn?t approached by anyone; we had decided on the Tv we wanted and stood there for ages waiting for someone to help us. No one came so I went searching for people but eventually ended up at the front desk asking for someone to see if the Tv was available to buy. In hindsight I should have stood in front of the 25000 pound Tv and all the assistants would have all fought each other to be the first there.(separate note considering Lg updates Tvs for 5 years and Samsung for 7,)who?s buying a Tv so expensive that they can?t update the Apps and would have to run a PlayStation 5 through it or a similar device after the updates cease?
(Not many people know Tvs don?t update after a certain amount of time)
We bought the Tv we had chosen and took it home after telling our post code.
Once we eventually had someone serving us everything was ok and went smoothly.
The store is fully stocked and has everything you?ll need from TVs, laptops, Fridge freezers, washing machines, Hoovers and much much more.
Product wise Recommended.
Customer service needs some tweaking.

Absolutely useless! Their care and repair plans are absolute scam. My kitchen mixer went to be fixed after 6 year paying for the care and repair plan. Guess what? 7 days? Took them 3 weeks to bring it back to me broken. Called customer service to complain, again lies that the mixer will be written off and I have to get back to the store. What happened there was just outrageous. They kept trying to made me take back my broken mixer. Im sick of their lack of competence and common sense. Beware and dont buy the extended warranty! It's total scam. You'll be ripped off and will get nothing like the promised service for your money!

It is a legal requirement to have a return policy and it's illegal to break your own policy.
This store done both and that's not legal even though the return was already promised.
In the end they completely refused the return and gave conflicting reasons for why, all those reasons were false and they didn't honour the return what was already agreed on before.
Spent 3 hours in there for nothing and stuck with a faulty item.

I love this company BUT the staff on headphones stand doesn't have a clue about the products, I have asked for advice and in one min ifnher lost face ,she told me -When you are ready just let me know, and dissappear. Emmmmm.....OKAY...... I use the GPT Chat to help me, which helps me to make an amazing choice. I am absolutely happy for my new headphones..... I'm just surprised why the staff aren't trained at the list on minimum knowledge about the products ?

It's quite clear when visiting a lot of people tend to have online click and collects but it appears the store doesn't have a proper queuing system in place for it. People were just hovering not knowing where to queue and others just walking past and going straight to the counter.

Usually I am disappointed when I shop here, we tend to be completely ignored by the staff, so I end up choosing what I want and going home to order online. This time however a charming member of staff named Janel helped us. She was knowledgeable and answered all our questions and couldn?t have been more helpful, she was a credit to the store. Upon the delivery of our new fridge freezer there was a slight issue, however the customer service was exceptional and our problem was resolved straight away. I would recommend thoroughly. Having previously purchased from AO and found the entire experience bitterly disappointing I found Curry?s to be a breath of fresh air this time. Keep up the good work

Beyond me the set up at Currys Chatham. Numerous staff roaming around to assist but no one on the till or as it was today three on the till but only one processing customers. For the second time in 2 months I gave up and put the product back ( a £70 laptop bag).
Wasn't a long queue but just zero engagement or interest from the staff behind the till. Just left us waiting.
I took a photo of the product and ordered it online just now. Paid more from the supplier but at least I'm guaranteed decent customer service.

Very disappointing experience at Currys!
I went to Currys to buy a TV and asked for help choosing between Samsung and Hisense. I initially left with a Hisense model, but within 20 minutes, I returned to the store to exchange it for a Samsung because my child needed it for their PlayStation.
Even though the TV was untouched and everything was sealed except for the outer box, the staff refused the return. I asked to speak to a manager, and still, they wouldn?t accept it ? citing the opened box as the reason, even though the product wasn?t used at all.
To make matters worse, the store assistant (a young lady) was extremely rude and dismissive, telling me it wasn?t her fault I didn?t know what I wanted ? completely unprofessional and unnecessary.
I regularly shop at Currys, but after this experience, I?m seriously reconsidering. I expected better service and basic understanding, especially when I was trying to buy a more expensive TV. I don?t recommend shopping here based on how poorly this was handled.

I am writing to express my shock and disappointment regarding the service I have received from Currys customer support. On three separate occasions, I encountered unacceptable behavior from an agent named Anil. His communication style was not only unprofessional but also rude, and I felt that he did not listen to my concerns at all. I would give Anil zero stars.
However, I want to highlight a positive experience I had during my recent interaction with a representative named Amelia. She took over and provided outstanding service?she was attentive, respectful, and truly listened to my needs. Her professionalism restored my faith in Currys, and I appreciate her efforts. Please note I would give a five star review is for Amelia. ??????????
I believe that recognizing both excellent and poor service is important for improvement. I hope my feedback helps enhance the customer experience for others in the future.
