ATTENTION: This review is for the complaints department. I tried to contact Asda chatham via phone but kept on going in loops. Yesterday I noticed asda home delivery driver shooting off his van very badly when delievered items around 62 Maidstone Road Chatham ME4 6DG. Please check what was wrong with him, was he having a bad day or is he going through some acute stress or was he running late or was he told off by the manager. The purpose of this review is to prevent him driving badly and more mindfully. Please forward this review to him and be nice to him.Apologies to the driver as i do not mean to mean to you.

Update on 23 Feb 24.1. Still out of date food on the shelves - worst case today was muller corner out of date by TEN days 3 trays taken out of the fridge and placed on the floor, in the hope that someone will remove them.2. empty cartons, trays etc all over the place.3. Still a lack of handsets to use, i have now resported to going down to the self scan area and putting handsets back so that your customers can use them, seemingly the staff don't do this.4. Couldn't complain at customer services as there was no one there and there was a queue of 3 others waiting.5. Staff clearly still more concerned about getting in the way, leaving carts in the middle of aisles doing click and collect shopping.Original review:1. Out of date food on shelves,2. Lack of self scan handsets when busy and being told "well you can just use your mobile instead"3. Only having a few tills open.4. Employees being rude, barging past people and blocking the aisles when doing click and collect orders.Just some of the issues I've had over the last couple of weeks. Some can be explained due to Xmas and New year but out of date food during busy times is strange.Having the bulk of your staff doing click and collect when they could be on the till reducing queues and number of customers stuck waiting in the store would be better. If the staff were on the tills they wouldn't be causing additional congestion in the aisles. Click and collect (online orders) shouldn't be available during peak times.One plus side: The cashback currently on offer via the app isn't too bad.

I've given it 1 n thats me being nice 1) only because there isn't anything on the shelf no more. 2) baby boy clothes isn't much there only a little Section. But your OK if you have a girl got loads? 3) what is it with the price in there now more money and its all getting smaller. Its asda not a posh shop. 4) let be honest about the food that go's out of day really quickly now what is that all about? N the vegetables lol ? they look like they are dead b4 they get out onto the shelf. So I now go somewhere else. Shop somewhere else forbetter food. The only good thing about the shop is the staff you can have a Laugh with them. if theManagement isn't standing on the top floor telling them off its called customer service. N please don't came back n tell me your put it Forward as you never do. and what is it with keep Changing the shop around all the time. Just leave it we all know where it all is. It doesn't make us look at buying something else. Because You've changed the shop around. It make us Annoyed.

After what I?ve seen I think I?ll start shopping at Tesco. How can you allow mould to grow? And a half eaten apple next to the self checkouts with colleagues walking past it?Edit: This was posted on Wednesday 6th, and Friday 8th, these are still like it.Another edit: 14th December - had a chat with an assistant manager to get this rectified in the evening but nothing. Trading Standards and Environmental Health have been notified this since has been in the same state for nearly two weeks of viewing.

Terrible cashier service. They take ages and talk to friends and customers for too long about personal subjects. No apology to customers waiting in line.

This has been my main shop for 10+ years, a recent reorganisation now leaves this store a complete mess, empty shelves, items I used to get now never in stock anymore. I now have to go to Sainsbury's after my Asda shop to get every thing. The only saving grace are the wonderful staff who now have to work in a once great supermarket thats racing to be a kwicksave experience without the cheap prices.

Lack of availability recently and ever increasing prices, the toy department upstairs was a mess and looked quite bare too. Queues usually good and staff friendly and helpful
