Lack of availability recently and ever increasing prices, the toy department upstairs was a mess and looked quite bare too. Queues usually good and staff friendly and helpful

Been shopping here for many years, sadly this store is no longer the place it once was. Long delays on the 1 or 2 checkouts that are actually open. Bread aisle is always lacking bread. Store has also been recognised, seemly with a reduction in choice. Main focus is now on flogging crisps, cereals and sweets.

This store is full of old men and women who are racists. This is not my first nor third experience. Very stinking and disgusting attitudes. In your old ages you don?t still have an understanding. ASDA NEED TO DO BETTER IN EDUCATING THEIR STAFF AND IMPLEMENTING THE CONCEPT OF ETHNICITY AND DIVERSITY because from your employees it?s obviousOne instanceI always shop online and pick up in store. When there used to be desk upstairs for collections and the old lady I met said she wasn?t the attendant and went inside and would look occasionally look through the glass door. I waited for good 10mins, until a white guy came and stood behind for collection as well. I asked her but you said you are not the one attending, she didn?t respond to me. I let it slide because I could easily turn it chaotic.2nd instanceI came in store with a light-skinned friend of mine. I couldn?t see a particular flour I usually buy, so I asked a staff if she could check for anymore available, she instantly said all we have is in the floor with disgust on her face. I asked my friend if she could ask the same staff for it. Your staff went and it got two out and told her it her lucky day. I came closer so she could see me and all she could say was ?sorry, we still got a few available? ?Third instanceMy friend have always told me about the big guy at the security point and I have seen him press the alarm button when a dark skinned is going across. And he did it to me. Isn?t that criminal actForth instanceI went for a return of some online shopping and the old lady who could politely and clearly explain to me that refund can only be done using the card and not contactless as every other store does. But she decided to be rude about the was she spoke to me.I could go on and on. I only come to the store because it is the nearest. And the next time I come in and I get such treatment, I won?t just let it go.ASDA should do better. If they need to retire for vibrant ones to take over, so be it.I have years of experience in customer service both in checking out and in the floor and I know what is expected of them and they meet below the low standard of customer satisfaction.

Excellent Customer Service from Sue in Customer Service. I had left a 3 pack of kitchen towels at the self service checkout after having paid for them. Four days later I contacted Customer Service to ask if they had been found. I was told that they had and as I still had the receipt, I could collect them from customer services. Such an easy resolve.Thank you Sue

Very good all round products. Fairly priced with good offers. Clothes are excellent quality for money and a wide range of stationary items too. Cards are above average for a super market. There is a very handy post box inside the main doors and cash machines on left of main doors outside the store.Staff are always helpful and friendly and always someone to show you to a till with the shortest queue, and are quick to open other checkouts when needed. Also helpful at self checkout's.UPDATE! 03-08-2023This store now has an excellent children's cloths department for babies upwards. It has recently undergone a rehash upstairs and well worth a visit if you haven't already done so.

The fuel cost are cheaper then most it?s just that you can?t get the fuel as the petrol station always seems closed when I go there . Anyone else had this problem ? 3 times it?s happened to me I now go somewhere different. Looks like the main shop reviews aren?t to clever too . Go to Alda to food shop at least you know what you?re going to get there and it only 2 mins away .

Very dissatisfied with the way I have been treated on my visit to the store tonight.Have tried to email in my concerns together with photographic evidence however there does not appear to be any way if doing this. Appears that it can only be done over the telephone which is not how I wish to do this. Will be giving this branch a wide birth from now on unless something is done.Huge illuminated sign above the store saying open 24 hours plus numerous signs around the car park so after parking up and paying the pound for a trolly a colleague just stood by the store shouting at anyone who went near the place that the store is closed so had had to put trolly all back and go back to the car and drive to Tesco instead. Was not offered anything other than a half hearted apology for the inconvenience and stress caused to me.When the store was last refitted in August 2008 the illuminated sign was quite rightly switched off and the ones in the car park were covered up so not to provide misleading information.Could you please help me to understand why that wasn't done this time and how you think this is good enough plus why you expect me to use the store once it returns back to normal hours?

We got there about 9pm, so maybe they hadn't stocked up yet, but a lot of the fruit and veg was sold out which was a little frustrating... struggled to find a few other items too but generally had most of what we wanted.Oh, and they still have trolleys that need a £1 coin, not all supermarkets are doing that now, would prefer if they got rid of them too.

Totally disappointed with their service. Haven?t been shopping online for a while, few years, actually. I didn?t have a car, temporarily, so I thought I?d give it a go. Made my shopping, paid, chose delivery slot and guess what? At the very delivery time (my slot was from 4 to 5 pm) they?ve cancelled my order! Actually it was @16.15. Bearing in mind, that it was Sunday it was like a slap in the face! I?m working 12 hours shift and have to speed to home straight after work, to interchange with my missus, she?s working nights, because we have small child. I don?t have time to shop after work! Food for four days, water, child food, etc, the whole shopping for working days gone with the wind! And the cancelation time, just disgraceful. It was like a joke from a customer. This is how ASDA values its customers. Thank you very much for your exceptional service, ASDA.

Excellent shop! Great home deliverys etc! Just shame about silly self scan checkouts! Bad idea altogether! Love the normal checkouts manned by staff! People on people More staff on tills than robots that rob you blind and throw wobbles when there?s nothing wrong free items if not scanned right etc

Just makes me laugh that they can put the prices up on literally every item in store making an obscene amount of profit yet cutting staff to the bone causing customers to que half hour to pay for the groceries theyv just battled to get in the trolley. Literally 8 trollies in front of me with 4 tills open on a sunday. Disgusting that so many companies are doing this really but just the way this country is now I suppose..no wonder so many people shop online now they make coming here a proper nasty experience..

I am totally appalled by the way you have dealt with my daughter today, she is a single mother of four, one is disabled and autistic and one is only a year old, her shopping should have been delivered today but she had a phone call to say that there was a problem with the driver and she would have to wait until tomorrow or cancel the order, she is unable to collect the order due to the previous problems I have stated, she cannot cancel the order as it was paid with school vouchers and she would not get these back, she has waited all day for a solution and a phone call from you, she has explained that the children?s food has to be delivered as she does not have the money to pay elsewhere. What is your solution PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON HER.Well done we will never shop at your store again.
