My kit Car club meets here and we just went for a drink. It's a very nice country pub, big garden and car park also appears to have camping. I haven't tried the food but many of the club members were eating when we arrived and all seemed happy with the food. Staff are very friendly, bar is well stocked, very nice clean toilets. I haven't rated their rooms as I didn't know if they had any. Will add more next time I go.

I visited this charming pub for lunch today and was thoroughly impressed. I opted for the steak and kidney pudding, which was served in a generous portion. The suet pastry was beautifully cooked light yet substantial and the filling was packed with tender, flavoursome meat. It came with plenty of rich, hearty gravy and perfectly cooked new potatoes, making for an immensely satisfying meal.
The team colleagues rather than just ?staff? were outstanding. They were attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which added greatly to the experience. This is a pub that delivers not only in its food but also in its atmosphere and service. If you have yet to visit, I would strongly recommend doing so soon; it is a place to be savoured.

Family evening meal.Been using this pub for years.Lovely garden,great food and friendly.Steak,Wagon Burger, Chicken & Bacon Salad and Pork with noodles & stir fry.All meals were presented well and the food was hot.Staff attentive and friendly.Well worth a visit

Meal was lovely but they didnt have a steak left or serve cocktails. Also the position of the table they sat us at, wasnt ideal as we could see into the kitchen and see the chef keep looking over.

Friendly staff, able to eat outside or inside, food was tasty too, will go back with my elderly father, who would enjoy the 'Steak n Kidney pudding!

Some of my family and I visited here for an evening meal. Great food, good sized portions. Nice atmosphere. I had the steak and kidney pudding off the specials board. Homemade, delicious, and huge! With loads of gravy and buttery mash. Really enjoyed it. We would certainly revisit.

We stopped for a quick drink before attending a crafting course nearby, early Friday evening. The pub was lovely and welcoming and the staff were friendly, smiled and had a sense of humour so we didn't feel like outsiders. The prices were reasonable and the menu looked so good we are planning to stop by for some rabbit pue in the future! Lovely place and in a lovely setting with an immaculate beer garden too.

From the moment we walked in greeted with a smile all staff are really friendly which is becoming rare these days.
Good quality food and good specials menu.
All food was good quality with good portions.
Really really well run business and obvious to see why they were so busy.
