We popped in the Bowl?s inn for lunch. The restaurant/pub area is very cost, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and very generous portions. A lovely place to visit for lunch or dinner.

Popped in for a couple of beers in the afternoon on new years eve with a couple of friends. The pub wasn?t busy but the handful of people in there were blocking the bar. We tried to navigate through to the bar but the bar staff didn?t seem to bothered about acknowledging our presence. Also instead of moving out the way so we could get a drink, the locals just stared at us. Very strange experience. We just left to find a more welcoming pub. Seems like a clicky locals only pub. Will never come back.

Group booking, great beer and great place to eat, we weren't drowned out by other tables or other noise.Food & drinks: Great beer, good but plain food, I struggled to choose from menu.

Popped in on way through from a day out on new years eve. Bar was not packed but I couldn't get to it because of 8-9 people with no spatial awareness having conversations with backs to the bar and blocking it effectively (bar staff didn't seem to be interested or notice our presence). Stood there 8-10 minutes whilst one of the locals an old guy with pure white hair stared at us as if he was weighing our souls. Left with out ether of us getting a drink. Randomly loads of people sitting in cars in the car park. 10/10 for the weirdest experience I've ever had in a pub.

I decided to go back here as we were passing nearby.And I'm glad I did, as it was lovely. Very nice restaurant area with views of countryside. Great service with helpful waitress. And the food was spot on! As well as the Guinness.Not the easiest place to get to, but it's worth it I think.

Food & drinks: Didn't stay in the rooms, but those we met who did were amazed.We dropped by a few times to eat and / or drink. Everything is top, especially the Kent white wine Bacchus.Can well recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights 27th 28th December for funeral in Charing Absolutely delighted with the place from the moment we entered after a very long tedious drive from Shrewsbury. The staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us-Tom deserves special mention as do two other female staff who served us dinner on first night and breakfast following mornings. Food was outstanding Thank you all

Another hidden Gem we have discovered! Booked an evening meal out with our friends and decided that the Bowl Inn would be a good venue as it was half way between Ashford and Maidstone. Being a wheelchair user, I had heard that this public house was wheelchair accessible and had no difficulty with the access and the bathroom facilities are first class. Alice made us feel very welcome and showed us to our table and drinks were swiftly served up as we placed our main course choices with Tom, who could not do enough for us. I would definitely recommend the suet steak pie! Great variety of starters and main courses on offer from the menu, but we decided to go stream in for the main courses. We were too full to sample the pudding choices, but they looked superb. Well done to Michael, Chef for a great meal and a special thanks to all the staff , including James and Max for a truly wonderful evening. We will be definitely be coming back and I would recommend that you visit this Hidden Gen. you won?t be disappointed. Well done to all the staff and keep the great work up. This have been a great customer experience ?

Planned a networking christams dinner out to this lovely pub.Booked for 23 people and was delighted with the service!The table was ready for us early; the food was to die for; the service was fast and attentive; every single staff memeber was friendly and had a smile on their face.Couldn't reccomend it enough!
