My friend and I both had steak,it was cooked perfectly,it came out on the plate with a lovely garnish,if I had thought about it I would have taken a photo,only I stuck straight in,gorgeous in every way,we will be eating there again and I will be telling our friends,Dale and Louis the waiters were so polite and nothing was to much trouble,and the price was good,our only advice would be to book! Very happy diners Alice & Jez.

Worth a visit just for the food. The friendly staff and cosy atmosphere are a bonus. I've been there several times and never been disappointed. It's a must go to gastro pub.

Lovely food and very friendly. Only moan was getting starter the with the main course but perhaps I should have said I want the starter before the main. Staff all well fit .?

We had Our gathering and refreshments here after my Mother?s funeral and they didn?t fail to please. Staff were so helpful and the buffet amazing for a very reasonable cost. Coffee and tea on tap included. Very touched as I said I wanted to display some photos and other memories. They had the piano set up with candles and flowers and room on a little table in a little area. It was a such a lovely surprise.Also very recently had a meal with friends here. A lovely time had by all thanks to the waiter, chefs and the owner.

This pub has a lovely atmosphere but what really makes it is the staff. From initial booking to the warm welcome we couldn?t have received friendlier service. We had Sunday roasts and desserts, which were delicious. Great portion sizes, delicious fresh vegetables and big yorkie puds. Great value, incredibly dog friendly and a fabulous place to relax and unwind. Huge beer garden and spacious interior but with a cosy feel. Definitely recommend.

We decided to try somewhere different for our 4th Wedding Anniversary. So we decided The White Horse Inn. Apon arriving there is a large carpark which is very handy. There is COVID-19 PPE like sanitizer and perspex pannel across the bar.We reported to the bar to confirm our booking a be seated. The server was Alex. (new girl we think) she was very polite and didnt come across as the new girl. (We other heard that she was being treained) Explained the menu and special board really well and took our drinks order whilst we dribbled at the lush menu selection.Dale (we believe) is very good and professional knows everything inside out and backwards, very forward thinking and proactive. I have ran restaurants and served in the highest of enviroments and Dale is up there when it comes to a dining service with his customer knowledge, recommendations, calmness and fun vibe. He shows a professional attitude that brushes of on the other staff members.Our order was taken:- table for 2STARTERSGarlic Breaded mushroomsGoats cheese fritter with a chilli jam and side saladThe mushrooms are a crowd favourate for my wife and she loved the but....... the Goats cheese fritter was brilliant leaving me wanting more. The creaminess off the goats cheese with the sweet chilli jam and the salad really worksMAINSCheese and bacon and burgers, chunky chips and onion ringsButterfly chicken with a white wine reduction served on a bed of couscous and red peppers accompanied by artichoke hearts.Lets start with the monster burger as my wife put it. Full of amazing flavours topped with a light fluffy bun. The skin on chunky chips were fluffy, chrispy and well there was loads great valueThe chicken was very flavoursome, the textures on the plate really worked well. The artichoke hearts were a fantastic addition to this jam packed dish full of flavours. This dish if your looking for something different is well worth the try.DESSERTChocolate and caramel cheesecake with vanilla icecream.Basically, is what it is, a very decrative slice of creamy chocolate cheesecake with amazing icecream.Chef Andrew, clearly has a very good pallet when it comes to fine food in the pub grub venue. Hats off to everything he sent out tonight for us as it was amazing. We was also noisy when it came to the other dishes coming out and every dish just looked on point and delicious. A visual recommendation is the charcuterie, the full of cured meats, cheeses olives etc. Apon leaving we was told Andrew was the only chef in the kitchen !!! Wow, no one was waiting and a very smooth service.All in all The White Horse Inn, Bridge, Canterbury is a very mordern yet country feel pub. Its extremely clean, fantastic atmosphere, great background music, amazing food, great team and it has a massive beer garden and parking.COVID-19 rules and regulations were followed throughout the evening from start to finish.I woukd like to say thank you to the team and will be recommending to all family and friends. Go give it a try guys I cant see you being let down !!Ben
