Despite the fact that I?m a regular customer here, I was practically stalked by a security guard around the store today. Not sure as to why that is but I could only assume that I looked suspicious because I?m not the right colour. Interesting as to how another review has also highlighted the not-so-subtle racial profiling in this store? if you?re not the right colour I wouldn?t recommend shopping here. Toodles!

Very creepy Security Guard. Literally follows people around the store, otherwise known as stalking customers. I now use Sainsburys. Security staff there are actual security, take a back seat, be less visible, watch the cameras. not harass customers...

I have no issue with the in-store service, this posting concerns online shopping this evening Monday 3 March 2025
I placed my weekly order via UberEats at around 7pm. Initially responses were the order was being prepared then at around 7:30 I received a message saying cancelled - they aren?t taking any more orders today! On calling the store I was informed by a somewhat dismissive woman that I need to contact UberEats as THEY WERE TO BLAME then they abruptly disconnected.
This is blatantly untrue. I attempted numerous times to reconnect but they would not answer.
I am requesting an explanation from the Store management

With a good parking space capacity, it is located close to Canterbury Christ Church University Hostel, got a combination of grocery store and cafe'

A friendly cafe with polite and helpful staff. Although they haven't got back to complete normality after COVID - a shortage of daily papers to read and the little bar and stools still missing from the takeaway coffee area. Shame, that was a nice little hub to chat to people.
