I had my wedding reception here in October 2023
from the moment myself and my husband walked it we knew it was the place for us.
all the staff are AMAZING and the venue gives a real cosy, homely and welcoming vibe.
if I ever had a question I know I could call and get an answer.
this place is a hidden gem and i feel forever be thankful to everyone for helping my wedding dreams come true!

Fantastic food & the loveliest staff. Probably one of the best roast dinners I?ve ever had . There was 4 of us and we all agreed it was such a great standard of service ?we will be back !!!

Wedding guest here, I must say that each and every one of the staff here were absolutely amazing yesterday! So kind, friendly and very pleasant! Emma and her team did the most amazing job accommodating both adults and children! 100% recommend!

Quiet country pub that's near to some lovely towns. Reasonably priced and staff very helpful. Nice river nearby

Had not visited in several years but it is the Rising Sun continues to be a welcoming village pub. Loads of parking, lovely gardens and homely interior. Won't leave it so long for another visit.

I stopped in for some dinner and was made to feel so welcome. The staff were warm and friendly, I was immediately made feel at home. The food was great and very reasonable price. Thank you.

Walked in for a Sunday roast on the off chance, was met with a lovely warm welcome. Food arrived quickly and the roast beef was lovely and very generous ammonts. We really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend. Thank you all

The burger was very tasty but unfortunately the desserts left a lot to be desired. We did mention this to the staff when we paid.

My step son had his wedding there. We had a wonderful day. They chose to have a BBQ instead of a sit down meal and it was fantastic. We had burger's, steak, chicken and sausages plus various salads etc. For pudding there was fresh fruit, cheesecakes, chocolate cake, strawberries, lemon meringue and lemon drizzle cake. Plus cream if you wanted it. The staff were very very helpful and friendly.
Couldn't fault the venue at all, but if I had to find fault with something it would be the parking. The car park is very small. Apart from that a smashing place.
