Sunday lunch with friends. Excellent menu choices, great food, extensive wine list. Beautiful restaurant and attentive staff. Pre lunch drinks in the snug with open fire. Perfect Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend.

I was here for my birthday and unfortunately I didn?t get any photos of the food, but it was amazing, and the cocktails were delicious ?.Perfect for a family gathering or a lunch/dinner date. Totally recommend.

We stayed in the Barn at the Pig Hotel in Bridge place. The room was beautiful and cannot be faulted, however shortly after checkout I realised I had left an expensive item of clothing in the room.I called immediately and was told that nothing had been handed in and that they would check with the cleaning staff the next day. I heard nothing further until I gave them another call. The informed me that nothing had been handed in.I know for sure the item was left behind so it was disappointing that this was not handed in and is definitely not something you expect from a well established hotel. More than financial value, this item was a gift and therefore had sentimental value.It was a massive shame as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but I won?t be returning.

Incredibly beautiful hotel! We stayed at the hop pickers hut which was delightful. The room was perfectly laid out with a wood stove, a comfy large armchair and a writing desk along with the king size bed (or even larger), a bath right in the room, and of course a shower and a toilet. The toiletries were all provided in the room. So was the tea, coffee and biscuits. The bar and restaurant area in the main house are stunning and so lovely to just sit and relax at. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious. There was a choice of cooked breakfasts options along with the buffet and cereal options.All the staff was very nice, attentive and helpful.

Came for a break for my partners birthday. The Pig team went out of their way to make it special for her, lovely touches throughout the stay wishing her a happy birthday. The stream shepherds huts are amazing, lovely outside bath and the food was also outstanding. Highly recommend for a short break.

The most beautiful building and interiors that transport you back to a different age.We enjoyed coffee and freshly baked biscuits beside an open fire.Spa facilities are available on site and rooms can be booked.Fresh fruit and vegetables are grown within a large kitchen garden.Definitely worth a visit.

I booked multiple treatments with the Head Therapist Olivia and had an amazing experience. Olivia tailored my treatments to my needs and was very accommodating as this was a much needed break. I dined in the restaurant and the food was gorg... I must say every member of staff from the receptionist to waiting staff to porters were super friendly and welcoming. Will be returning! Thank you.

My partner and I went to The Pig to celebrate her birthday.The Pig asked me when I made the reservation if I was celebrating anything.I explained it was a birthday lunch.At the end of a simple lunch that cost £130 the staff presented my partner with a pig-shaped ginger biscuit that had 'Happy Birthday' written on it.We were overwhelmed.Not.We broke it in half and shared it.What a venue!A 5p biscuit as a reward for an expeniture of £130 for two.The meal was very good.Unfortunately, they are unable to make risotto.Mine tasted wonderful but had the texture of rice pudding.I'm sorry, but even amateurs know that risotto should be 'al dente'.I'm happy spending £130 for lunch for two but you need to get it right and don't insult me with a birthday gift of a ginger biscuit.I actually eat here a few times a year.Less going forward.
