I went to grab a beer after a walk around the city. In the pub, there was only one bartender, who looked like he might be Muslim.
As I approached the bar, another gentleman came up. The bartender acted like he didn?t see me. The gentleman suggested he serve me first since I was there before him. The bartender responded, ?Her? She can wait.? Both the gentleman and I were taken aback.
It was lunchtime, and in this British pub, some sound composition was playing, repeating something about Allah. It went on the whole time I was drinking my pint, which I couldn?t even finish because I felt so uncomfortable.

Spent the afternoon in this delightful pub had the sri lankan curry that was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We came in quite late in the evening and ordered two drinks to enjoy while playing some cards. After 15 minutes the bartender came up to us and said that the place was closing. Next time, let us know the place is closing in 15 minutes before leting us order the drinks.
We had to drink up in a hurry and my partner was not able to finish her drink.

Lovely pub - much nicer inside than out. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food, but it has a very friendly atmosphere.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. Both our hostess, Anita, and the staff, especially Sam, were so friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful. Drinks were quality. Angus, our border collie, was treated with biscuits. Also delicious ? Thank you. We will be back some day!
