They close at 10:55pm not 11pm FYI. Highly annoying when you're staying at the premier inn next door and check in and expect Tesco to be open as advertised.

Me and my friends were deciding on a snack to buy and one of the staff turned around and said 'are you gonna stand there all day because I've got a job to do' when we were neither in her way or being loud.

It?s very unfortunate that we were outside the shop at 10:54 pm and the guard didn?t let us in as there were 6 mins left in closing.
That?s unprofessional as I also work at a superstore and you keep it open till the last minute for the customers.

Staff is always nice in this small tesco.
Just by small tesco, I really mean 'small' tesco. If somebody is at a shelf then no place for an other customer. You constantly will bump into people.
But, they also have self checkout, staff is nice, great range of products for a shop of this size, so all overall not a bad place.

It has the basics, but when one of them is open, I usually either go to Waitrose over the road or the Oaten Hill Local Express 2 minutes walk away

Staff are lovely but its way over priced in there, i avoid buying so much as prices are ridiculous, its cheaper to go across the road to waitrose, which I avoided doing, as I thought waitrose was over priced but turns out its still cheaper then the tescos express for much better quality too.

My partner and I were refused service for condoms due to "needing ID" which is completely false. There is no age restriction on condoms. Whilst I have the attitude to ask for them, younger people may not and how rude the server was makes me worry that young people won't want to ask. There are no restrictions on them in order to promote heathy and clean sex, so this attitude I faced really disappointed me as it displays a lack of being informed. Despite being in customer service.I hate having to complain, but this needs to be sorted.
