Id like to complain about the Tesco store redesign. It really has become a horrible environment. Firstly there are new one way barrier that close on you while youre trying to get a basket. Then once youre in there you are trapped. You used to be able to walk out the front, now you have to take the long way round. the new aisles are extremely high and it feels oppressive. Everything has been moved so I had to walk round 3 times to find what I needed. There are no cash options to pay at the till except if you joined the long line with one human cashier. Then at the checkouts you have these intimidating camera right in your face treating you like a criminal before youre even in there. And if you dont have a card on you someone has no way of paying. It was a really hostile and horrid experience and there has obviously been a lot of money spent on it to make it much much worse. I will be avoiding this shop in the future as it was such an unpleasant experience. I wanted to give feedback as I've never felt so angry by a vibe in a shop before. Thank you for listening and I hope you can forward this on to whoever is designing your stores.

Disgraceful episode this morning at the newly refurbished store. The door man attempted to manhandle a 83 year old woman who was leaving the store by the main entrance and told her and myself to use the side entrance as an exit. I wasn?t intimidated but my friend was quite shaken and upset. Come on Tesco I know you make a lot of money from our custom, please use some of that to train your staff properly.

After concluding my contract with Maidstone Tovil Tesco, I was instructed to return my uniform to the local Tesco. I visited this Tesco a few days ago to do so.While waiting at the customer service center to discuss further matters regarding my application, which I submitted on October 24 and is still under review, I encountered a shift leader named 'William.' Unfortunately, he couldn't provide me with a valid reason for the delay and instead suggested that I reapply. This being the recruitment system's functionality is disappointing, highlighting shortcomings within their management and HR systems. What was particularly concerning was William's rude attitude, which made me feel as though I had come to beg rather than seek assistance. I am perplexed and cannot fathom whether his behavior was influenced by a certain bias.I am uncertain how an employee with such an attitude can flourish within the great company that Tesco is. Having always had positive interactions with colleagues at Tesco, I find this encounter highly unusual. As a former Tesco employee, I do not deserve this treatment. I am bringing this matter to the attention of the head office. I urge an investigation into their recruitment system and management.

Customer service absolutely disgusting, I went in to cash in my lotto and that filthy man who served me just threw the cash as if it was rubbish...what is this childish behaviour? Honestly disappointed this branch has undoubtedly gone down hill, health and safety, and basic training is needed for this man. How in hell did he get hired...

This store doesn't accept cash anymore card only and self service only apart from the cigarette counter. Very overpriced and the staff are so rude to their customers it's almost like a comedy in there. The store is often very dirty as well.

ONLY THREE SELF SERVE TILLS WORKING OUT OF 12..... WHAT A TOTAL JOKE... spent half dinner break in the queue.... DISGUSTING

Good store, quite pricey but there is always good offers. Needs another person to help on self-service tills as normally theres a poor woman whos running back and forth. Another worker would mean the tills would be open as most of them are closed, but noone is there to fix them

Has most of what you need in a shop, but very disappointed to see that they have removed many of the own brands priced at the lower end of the price range. This makes it especially hard for people struggling to stretch their pennies and is most noticable in the meat and tinned fruit and veg areas. On the plus side, they very often have plenty of discounted items in their near end of shelf life sections which is a godsend to those that are on a tight budget.

This store is definitely going downhill. Got my cat food from this tescos for years but it's now cheaper to get it in sainsburys. They've removed loads of meat options, leaving customers with only the option of the finest stuff, which is way over priced. I used to pop in at least every other day and now I avoid it completely, there is so many cheaper options out there.

It was busy, but some checkouts were not manned and some self-service tills were out of order.

jesus. today we were nearly knocked over in an apparent ' pedestrian zone ' by a man riding fast on a cycle, with a large 'deliveroo' back pack. Assuming he is a delivery driver.outside tesco in whitefriarsno wonder people are leaving canterbury in droves for safer shopping spaces, like Bluewater.i have always supported local shopping, but everytime we are in canterbury, we are nearly hit by delivery drivers on cycles.we called the council they told us to ring the police, we rang the police, they told us to ring the council !im spent, its bluewater for me, its safe, and no cyclists.if you dont manage whiefriars space with security properly and enforce no cycling, someone will get seriously injured or killed,. just recently a woma was killed in london by an Uber cyslist on the pavement.goodbye canterbury its been 'emotional '
