Normally use screwfix but not anymore as the staff in wincheap back are terribly rude, went in on the 14/01/2025 7pm and the man behind the till was awfully rude I asked to view the item before paying for it to make sure it was correct and got a sarcastic comment saying he don?t want to be running around the warehouse as was only two people on shift but doesn?t shut till 8pm so had another hour hour anyway.. if he don?t like his job why not get one somewhere else as makes people not want to shop here.

Screwfix Canterbury. Rude staff, completely uninterested in listening to reason. They currently have a low price guarantee on any product with the logo. There is a huge banner outside the store advertising this and it specifically says they will price match toolstation who were cheaper on this specific product. The staff said they would not price match the item despite it being in the low price guarantee because it was already on sale. However the price sticker for the item specifically had the low price guarantee logo on it, and had the words "price match"Staff were unwilling to accept that. The manager then came out who said if I had a problem to take it to head office. I clearly pointed out their huge banner and the A4 price sheet above the paint which said they would price match this specific product, and they refused.Rude, unwilling to listen to reason.

I had a question about a product on their website. Customer services tried really hard to find the answer, but couldn't. So they put me in touch with the MANUFACTURER and made sure I had all the product codes so I could find the information I was looking for. Ordered online, received helpful, clear updates by SMS and email and picked up the part in store this morning. Took less than 30 seconds from walking in the door to walking out with what I needed! That's how you do customer service!
