Local mini-grocery store option. Selection is slimmer and condition is rougher than the outlet up the street on the other side of the city wall. Cash, credit card and e-wallet payments accepted. Self-service checkout.
Small selection of fresh produce. Dairy, eggs, breads, and lots of processed food options. Liquor is a big draw here particularly after dark.

Lovely staff, polite security OK products and emergency wine...but with some veg from a land whose PM is wanted on war crimes, I'll be shopping elsewhere, one star for that reason.

There is no longer a vegetarian section at all, so I won't shop here anymore. Really weird selection of products. It's always cramped.

This shop has mostly meal deals and caters mainly for students it seems. It generally sells branded produce (Heinz etc.) and doesn't seem to sell their own brand, which I prefer. They also don't reduce anything very much and (because of its location ) is very expensive and poor value. I only use it if I absolutely have to.

It's a good convenience store for people who live in the St. Dunstan's area. Sells all the 'essential' foods. It's open for 16 hours every day of the week as well which is handy. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because so often, I go in there for ice cubes/ice cream tubs and the freezers are completely empty. They should keep their stock updated a bit better. Otherwise, it's fine.

Very convenient location not far from station but not very good experience. Shelves were half empty. Not much variety available and cherry on top rud staff with bad customer service. Security guard was looking at you like he saw your pic at notice board in police station. Not feel comfortable while there. Hope not coming back.

I always use this shop when I visit Canterbury, well stocked and friendly staff.

I must admit, I was quite disappointed with my experience at the local Sainsbury's at St Dunstans. While I usually have positive things to say in my reviews, this store had very little going for it. The only redeeming quality is that it stays open until 11 pm, which is helpful for those who work late or have busy schedules.Unfortunately, the store itself was quite dirty, and the self-checkout machines almost always had issues. Whether it was struggling to scan items or rejecting them outright, it made the already long process of shopping feel even more frustrating. To add to the chaos, the store always seemed to be understaffed, which made it hard to find someone to help with questions or concerns.Even outside the store, things weren't much better. The area surrounding the shop was also quite dirty and had an unpleasant odor.Despite all this negativity, I will say that the store is in a convenient location, being close to the West station. But, if you have the option, I'd suggest going to a different Sainsbury's for your shopping needs. Overall, my experience was not great, and I hope the store can work on improving its cleanliness, staffing, and checkout machines.

Staff are constantly refilling the shelves. Can buy most things you'd expect from a small local store
