Lunchtime treat while visiting Canterbury. Food was excellent, some lovely additions and changes to their excellent menu. Liz looked after us extremely well. She clearly loves working here, very professional and friendly also informative, she kindly made menu suggestions and made sure we were aware of their loyalty scheme. We live abroad, so don't have an opportunity to visit here very often. Thankyou Liz.

I booked a pizza-making birthday party for my 7 year old daughter. We had an absolute blast. Nathaniel was charming and had all the kids captivated making their own pizza. Adults were offered drinks too and had a quieter place to sit down and read a book if they fancied it. It was a lot of fun and great value for money.

Delicious food in a cosy restaurant next to the river with a lovely view!
Tip: Request to sit next to the window.
All pizzas were amazing and staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had great experience today Liz was very friendly and the service was great.
Chef Hasan made us delicious food .Also I love raspberry cosmo spritz.

Disappointed, despite being largely empty gave up queuing as nobody ahead of us was getting seated . The ?Manager? was serving. we went to Prezzo , very busy but no waiting .

Went yesterday and service was great, Young server in our area did really well in the face of some rude customers who couldnt quite understand why food takes a bit longer in a busy restaurant... her and the manager were great and deserve the plaudits. We were in the section of table 13.

Food is always good with Pizza Express. Few issues with the Canterbury branch however in regard to the customer service and atmosphere.
Left waiting a while to be seated. There were buckets on the floor and cleaning products dotted about. Staff were coming in and clocking on, not a great first impression.
Told to use the app and check in to our table. My wife had 'free side' on the app. We chose the Mac and Cheese on the menu showing as £7.95. This was pitiful. Small around 4 table spoons of food. Tasty but small.
We ordered 2 children's meals 2 larges pizza's and 2 starters was Xmas menu special offer 2 courses for ££'s.
The were half way through the starters when the mains turned up. Not great timing.
When paying the bill. Lo and behold 'you can't use two offers'. This was not conveyed in any way by the menu or the waitress.
Total bill about £100 for 2 adults and 2 children. Food was nice, but bitter taste left in the mouth from the service and sneaky rip of tactics with the menu and app.
Probably would go elsewhere next time. Although the food is nice, Pizza Express has become over priced in my opinion.
