Hotel well located on pedestrian street. But therefore difficulty in storing your car, parking 6 minutes away on foot in the rain! Otherwise everything perfect restaurant close and good.

Very sweet olde worlde hotel - absolutely brilliant location for the theatre and walking into the city . Quaint old rooms , stairs a little steep but in keeping with the style. Lovely continental breakfast and really helpful staff. Very reasonable prices .Nearby activities: Marlow Theatre right on the doorstep. 10 minute walk from Canterbury West Station. Short walk into Canterbury City centreWalkability: Short walk to town centre. 10 mins from Canterbury West Station.Food & drinks: Loads of restaurants and bars around the area. Recommend Pizza Express just round the corner ?

Nice little hotel, very centrally located, but it was still surprisingly quiet (Saturday night). The room was clean and practically furnished and the bed was a little short but ok. The breakfast was continental and appealing, the selection was ok. I would stay there again.

To flee !We booked this hotel because of the good reviews. But after spending a (shortened) stay there. We don't understand them at all.Horrible room, unsanitary bathroom. We had to shower with a glass that we filled with water.I don't even understand how we can rent rooms in this state. And when we complained to the manager of the establishment he blamed my 3 year old daughter for not having flushed the toilet before the maid came?In short, to flee

The room was nice enough, staff were friendly, the location excellent but I can?t imagine what the owners were thinking when they let an electric guitar group practice in their breakfast room on a Wednesday evening. Listening to the Mission Impossible theme tune being repetitively blared from electric guitars for two hours was not exactly relaxing. Shame, because I travel to Canterbury pretty regularly for work and I might have considered coming back if it wasn?t for this absolute piss take.Rooms: Room was small but the bed was comfortable. Was a shame not to have shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom - that?s the least one expects from a hotel these days.

More a pension or B&B than a hotel.Breakfast was not so good; one day there even was no bread, no cheese etc.Carpet in entree hall is very dirty; that's not a nice entree. Room noisy.Staff was normal friendly, not very hospitable.Daily fresh towels. There is a bar, it looks nice, but there are in the days we have been there no visiters at all.

Lovely rooms and delicious continental breakfast. Good value for money and perfect for pilgrims.

Great location in central Canterbury. We had a cool double room that allowed us to share as a family of four. Continental style breakfast included and subsidised parking available as the nearby car park. All good.

Very satisfied with our stay at Pilgrims hotel. Big rooms with comfy beds, and a big bathroom. Helpfull staff, and situated in the center of the town. Varied options for breakfast, a small bar and delicate toilets.

Lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated, though in a pedestrian area. If you?re coming by car, park at postal code CT1 2AA, a 3-4 minute walk from the hotel.

I stayed at the Pilgrim?s Hotel for three nights and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. I traveled solo so I had the single room, which was quite small (but that was to be expected). The bathroom was very small and the area around the toilet was even smaller. It is very close to everything you want to see in Canterbury, including a lot of pubs and restaurants. For a solo traveler who didn?t spend much time in the room, the Pilgrim?s Hotel is great.

We picked this for its price and location. It was one of few hotels that required initial payment when we booked. But no worries. We were in a family room that had two small rooms and some separation, which was nice. Wonderful breeze in the windows. No view. But generous staff allowed us to keep bags at hotel after we checked out. Breakfast was wonderful. No eggs, but amazing pastures and huge selection of fruits and nuts and granola type cereals, cheese and shaved meat. We wish we had stayed longer. Right near the cathedral and in the historic district that we wanted to tour.
