very unhelpful been an 02 customer for years and they cant help unless you bought from the shop! I bought from 02 online who were very helpful.

Really appreciate the help I was given on Friday about trying to find a new phone. I've not bought one in ages and I was looking to buy the cheapest possible. The lady I spoke to was so helpful and although I wasn't able to make a decision at the time, I would definitely recommend going in.

Do not trade in phones here. I was offered £180 for my old phone when I signed up for a new phone. I needed to wipe it so took in in a couple of weeks later and they said it would be £167. I noticed the difference but accepted it as was around the same amount. There was a tiny crack on the back which he processed on the screen, and he also input that there was no water damage etc., showed me the £167 on the screen and said it might be a little less when they inspect it. I got an email saying they'd give me £84. I said that was not what was agreed and they asked for the receipt which I can't find at the minute but £84 was never mentioned and he showed me £167 on the screen several times. They said they can't cancel it and return the phone as they processed the payment in spite of me raising a query immediately. I'd hate to think they did that to someone really struggling with money, so please go elsewhere.

Visited to make an enquiry re changing tariff. Had a wait of 15-20 mins until an advisor was available. Sat outside in the sun! Enquiry resolved quickly.

Staff need more training to diagnose problems and advise customers. Why did they get rid of the O2 guru? I was advised to visit the store to resolve my problem (the SIM they gave me did not activate within 24 hours). The problem was quickly diagnosed accurately by O2 customer services (O2 had put a restriction on my phone no. after I had contacted them when my phone was stolen).

Don't bother with visiting this branch, if you dare visit an hour before closing time they will want to see you. Apparently this might interfere with their going home time! I work in retail and would never turn anyone away even if they turned up at 5.25pm. O2 you have lost a customer!!!

Absolute disaster... The waiting time for customer is just so much time wasting as pretty much no other o2 shop does it, but when i asked why they still have the waiting time the customer advisor said the don't have enough staff which is been like that for ages. I went in to collect my new phone and they asked for security question which i spelt right and it didn't work, they they've asked me for my last air time bill i said the exact amount it's shown on my o2 app guess what.. didn't work again, carrying further with the option to get on the system which is the sort code and the account number on my debit card and still not working then they've told me my account is locked for two hours....

Existing O2 customer for over 15 years...wanted to by a handset only, insisted I buy a sim package or I could not purchase the phone despite me already having an O2 contract sim.Shockingly poor service, not what I have come to expect from O2 ?
