Disgusting customer service and was not upfront about costs. Avoid at all costs. They replied to my review saying I haven't been there when I have. They will try to get the most money out of you and will lure you in with a misquote. But by the time they tell you how much, they would've taken your car apart so you have no choice. They didn't give me back my locking wheel nut key. The manager is a joke. Wouldn't accept any fault of their own. 0 stars if I could.Isn't it funny how the negative reviews they don't have records of people but they do with the positive reviews?

Have taken all our vehicles (10 cars and vans) to Mr Clutch, Canterbury for many years. After our most recent experience will never return. One of our cars failed it's MOT yesterday with a long list of defects. Took the vehicle to be independently checked at another garage in Canterbury and no faults were found that would result in the car failing its MOT. Staff at Mr Clutch, Canterbury were very keen to quote for work that, as verified by the other garage, didn't need doing. We are in the process of contacting DVSA about MR Clutch, Canterbury

My Jag XF broke down and took to Mr Clutch (recommended by RAC mechanic). My alternator had failed. What seemed like very good initial customer service has turned in to a nightmare. I was charged £567 for a replacement alternator. They ended up trying 3 times blaming faulty parts. They couldn?t clear the faults on the dash and now the car is unsafe to drive. They just recommended me to take to Jaguar as they didn?t know what was wrong. I now have to wait 6 weeks to get my car fixed properly at unknown cost as they seem to have made matters worse. If they don?t have the capability or equipment to fix a car then don?t try. The worst part is that the car was totally unsafe to drive as it constantly cuts out now. (It was perfect until the alternator failed). They just wanted rid of my car as they couldn?t do the job and sent me off in an unsafe vehicle with no warning of how dangerous it would be to drive.

Canterbury Mr Clutch Garage/branch - I would recommend the Canterbury branch as the staff, Manager, mechanics & engineer's were great. They went above and beyond and considering that they are so busy. They still were able to do so much to get my car MOT?d and back on the road. A++

Customer service excellent, prices fixed and fair, work done exceptional. My old jalopy, Bernard, has gained a new lease of life, I wish I could find somewhere that could do the same for me! ? Thank you Mr Clutch. ?

Faith in humanity restored! Had a long 3 hour journey in terrestrial rain which subsequently had affected the under carriage oh my car. Thankfully (Tyrone) and the guys were so helpful at getting my car back on the road so quickly and managed to fit me in without having to have a booking. So grateful and this will now be my garage of choice for any mechanical issues/ services in the future!

could leave no stars I would.Nearly £1500 for clutch and dual mass is ok but using the corroded pipes is just ridiculous.The customer service manager emailed me and said;When talking to the branch manager, they used the old pipes because the new ones seemed to be at the wrong angle.?It would have cost a few pounds to change those pipes,the company that I used to fix the work said they come with the csc.Very poor workmanship,avoid.****edit****I?ve spent a couple of months trying to get a resolution with your customer services.They inform me that all the parts were fitted and they can?t help me any further.They admit the pipes were not changed as the new ones were the wrong angle.This is an internal part that only the mechanic could see so he should have changed it or told me that he couldn?t do it.

Why go anywhere else?! These guys are amazing! Saturday, really wet and miserable out and typically something in my exhaust starts sounding like the car is very ill! Mr Clutch Canterbury to the rescue. Booked straight in, fast and friendly turnaround and totally looked after me. My car isn?t as bad as I thought and the lovely humans there didn?t take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Thank you so much to all the team! ?Service: Exhaust

Initial online quote was £440 to change clutch in Toyota but after that they requested £550 because apparently the clutch they gave me was better quality. End up paying £480, way more than any of the small garages around would charge but agreed as needed car urgently and they provide speedy service (car was ready withing 4 hours- all smaller garages I contacted in Wincheap there was 2-5 weeks wait..) so 3 stars for speed but they will do what they can to rip you off.

Upon my mother raving of the brilliance of this place, I too have made this my autocentre of choice, and each time I have been I have been met by the most down to earth staff ever. This is a very friendly and welcoming place. Very fast and high quality service. It is clear to me that the staff here are genuinely passionate about their jobs.

Mr Clutch saved our holiday! Our camper clutch failed in the queue to our ferry crossing to France. Dave and the team we so helpful and kind - going above and beyond to get us back on the road. Good ol' fashion customer service!

They couldn't fix my van because they gave me thoughtful advice..to save me throwing good many away...they kindly let me keep it on there forcourt for a few days whilst I organised recovery ...Dave the manager is a great host and a natural at customer service ...Will be be my first port of call In the future

My car suddenly started making a horrendous sound and I wasn't sure if it was the clutch about to drop off or something else. As I happened to be driving past Mr Clutch, I popped in on the off chance and the mechanic said it sounded like the power steering fluid needed topping up in my car, which he promptly did. Problem solved. In this day and age, attentive service like what I experienced today is rare. A huge thank you to the two gents who attended me and getting me on my way in less time than it would have taken to brew and drink a cuppa. Thank you ?
