“I regularly visit the Home Bargains store on Sturry Road and I'm always impressed with my shopping experience. The staff is always all very friendly and welcoming, which really makes me feel valued as a customer. Not only that, but they are incredibly knowledgeable about the wide range of products they have on offer.The prices at Home Bargains are fantastic - very reasonable compared to other stores in the area. And speaking of products, they have a fantastic range available! Everything from instant coffee to pet food, cleaning products, and toys can be found on their shelves. Plus, they have all the basic foods you could need, such as apples, eggs, and pasta.I found the parking at this location to be incredibly easy, which makes the whole experience even better. All in all, I would highly recommend Home Bargains on Sturry Road to anyone looking for great basic everyday products at great prices, and a welcoming shopping experience.”

“Very conveniently situated clean store with a huge selection of well priced goods. The free car park is a bit on the small side, but we have never had an issue finding a spot. There is also a bus stop right outside if you prefer to use public transport.”

“Handy shop with large free car park to rear. Friendly staff. Costa coffee and hot sausage rolls/pies as well as usual ready made sandwiches/salads. Not the cheapest but is a nice shop and very convenient because quite a way to large towns. Don't mind paying a bit more for convenience.”

“The usual high quality produce and friendly staff. One star knocked off because they used to offer a really good range of curry ready-meals but now it's hard to find anything other than chicken. I haven't seen either of the fish curries in stock for months.”

“Monday AM: Queued for an hour to obtain diesel but was able to fill tank. Forecourt Marshalls directing drivers to pumps so quite efficient. Unleaded also available.”

“Good store, quite pricey but there is always good offers. Needs another person to help on self-service tills as normally theres a poor woman whos running back and forth. Another worker would mean the tills would be open as most of them are closed, but noone is there to fix them”

“Good for a small store. It is also very close to the college so students like to get snacks from here. The staff are helpful; when the drinks and snacks that I like are out of stock on the shelves, they restock the shelves within minutes.”

“Always get the kids packed lunch bits here on a Sunday, good selection of supermarket items, plenty of parking, toilets are hit and miss, well displayed, good bakery, cheese and fish selection. Never had to wait too long at a manned checkout, they seem to manage this very well unlike Asdas where they never have enough checkouts open”

“I'd like to thank Lou in Customer Service for great service.I went there yesterday to make a return on an electrical item that stopped working less than a year after purchase. There were no quibbles - Lou just asked for my receipt and promptly made the refund.I went back again to ask about the returns policy on specific items. Once again, Lou provided prompt service.Finally, having finished my shopping and with a full trolley, I found that the cab service that customers can call from the store was unreachable. As the phone is located next to Customer Service, I told Lou - and, yes, he fixed it! He called another cab service to pick me up.This is the kind of service that's been missing in the UK for a while now. Thank you Lou for demonstrating that pockets of this still exist.”
