Went to watch Dune 2 here. Tickets were very reasonable. Seats comfy. Staff friendly, talkative and helpful. Nice selection of food and drink. Popcorn was delicious with a coffee (coffee was good too). Much better experience than the big chain cinemas imo.

Having been to the New Curzon cinema I wasn?t sure what to expect from the other original Cinema venue on the other side of the city, I was not disappointed! With the seating area as you enter and the bar serving hot and cold drinks and food, you will certainly enjoy not only the film but the whole experience start to finish.

What a delightful and delicious cinema. Our first visit, and it is utterly charming. Chatted to nice couple next to us before the movie; they were enjoying a bottle of wine. That wouldn't happen at your local Vue where its munch, crunch through the film. Saw "All Of Us Strangers", by the way.

Lovely small cinema (3 screens) with a club-like atmosphere. Food and drink available. Well trained staff. Accessible. Membership available which offers reduced prices on food and drink in house, and also a home-screening package - not all titles are available, but you can use your membership credits for viewing a good range of films/exhibitions/opera/ballet. Highly recommended

Best cinema I've ever visited. Great choice of films.This is now the Big Sister cinema of the two in Canterbury, and maintains the less mainstream choices, while still managing to show great, popular films too.Great food, good drinks, amazing staff, it's a lovely place to visit, eat, drink and relax in, before you want to see the film (and I even stop off for coffees without seeing a film too).Not to be ignored is what it offers that nowhere else at all does outside of London: Opera, Theatre, showings of Director's oeuvre, subtitled, kids films, and that you can hire for your own groups for computer games/business presentations/birthdays.The staff are the core. They made it what it is and are still doing an amazing job.

This is a nice cinema. It's small but has a really pleasant feel to it. On arrival the entrance is more relaxed coffee shop stroke bar than a cinema. The staff are welcoming and an interesting selection of drinks and food - although seeing what they have to offer was a little difficult. I would say it feels like a cinema for grown ups rather than the usual cinema options locally. I actually took the kids. They loved the smoothies. The viewing experience is nice. Although, slightly tight viewing angles but this didn't detract from the experience. Seating is comfortable (2 hour film). I would normally go to Thanet but will try this place again as it was really enjoyable.

Have a Curzon Cult membership so use this cinema very regularly. Always enjoy visiting. Friendly, professional staff and great films (especially like the choice of foreign movies).If you prefer a cinema with more character and a 'grown up' feel then this is for you. Food and drink choices also reflect the atmosphere and can be brought to your seat or served in the comfy lounge area.Very pleasant to have very few instances of talking and mobile phone use during performances.

Service was slow, but staff were friendly. The seats were dirty, though the bathroom was well maintained and clean.
