I might appear to be the 'odd one out' judging by the reviews here, but I have never had a problem with either the service/people or the availability of my prescription/s...the staff are professional and workmanlike but this shouldn't be confused with rudeness or unfriendliness. However this review, as with all the others, is garnered from personal experience.

Staff are very rude with customers and also with other staff.I?m wouldn?t be surprised if someone is charged for harassment!Shame on you all. There is only one reason of your closure, KARMA!

Had enough of this Chemist! on 3 seperate occasions they haven't had the medication needed which was ordered in plenty of time and before I ran out. They never let you know they don't have meds in stock until you turn up to collect. Despite my GP telling me the Pharmacy are permitted to give alternatives, they refused to do this, said it was Head Office who make the rules. Well actually, it isn't!!. Told me that some of my meds were out of stock because of manufacturing issues. Went to Boots, got them the next day!! This was a bog standard beta-blocker!! Never using them again. The GP surgery have had so many complaints about them they've advised me to change to a different pharmacy which I have now done and make a formal complaint to NHS England. The two members of staff I spoke with just did not care.

Absolutely diabolical service. Mostly served be unfriendly youngsters and then you meet the people in charge and there even ruder. When you don't get your prescription, when you dont do the service your paid to do i expect a sincere apology. They are unhelpful, unkind and on the verge of lazy here. Please don't use this pharmacy.

Terrible service, and student unfriendly! The owner Mya Patel was very rude and accusatory when I had the necessary documents for a prescription refund. Unhelpful staff and consistently bad encounters with them. DO NOT GO! Reporting the incident to head office.

Absolutely awful service! Asked for one product was given another. I repeatedly asked and made sure I was buying the correct product and the lady at the till reassured me, however she didn?t let me see the product fully until I paid for it. When I walked outside I noticed it was the wrong product. When it came to returning the product she said there was a no return policy. This is absolutely awful as this is her fault. She was so quick to scan it and make money however isn?t able to return it. She also claimed she was the ?manager? this is a awful chemist! Also a lady in-front of me asked for a ear medication and the so called ?manager? said they didn?t have it until the poor lady literally had to point at it. How embarrassing! Know your products for Christ sake! And you claim you?re a manager. Do better UNIVERSITY OF KENT

Twice been collecting medicines and handed a pen to sign for them. When I pointed out we should not be sharing pens was told Oh it's all right we sanitise them afterwards. That's OK for them not more for me. Also there's no sanitizer on entry. You'd expect a pharmacy to get the basics right.

Seemingly going above and beyond to make basic service as difficult as possible would be one thing - giving literally counterproductive medical advice as you turn customers away, advice which anyone would immediately know literally does more harm than good just adds to the experience. Good lord

Iâ??m not quite sure what happened to this pharmacy in the past six months or so. Itâ??s gone from being a (possibly too) large shop to one thatâ??s about a quarter of the size which seems kind of odd considering that itâ??s serving a university. The staff are always busy, often friendly but Iâ??ve been told on more than one occasion that they wouldnâ??t be able to fulfill my prescription on the day and have had to go elsewhere, which has never happened before. The lack of space means that if you wanted to talk to staff youâ??d have to go into the dedicated area as everyone can hear everything. I now generally try and get my prescriptions sent elsewhere because I never know if Iâ??ll get things when I need them here. Absolutely not the fault of the frontline staff, who are pleasant and doing their best to serve a very busy community, but I do wonder why they made the changes.

Brilliant and fast service here. I received my items and prescription almost immediately, with a happy and warming reception. The pharmacist/ dispenser was very polite and help ful. One of my items were not in stock and I was told clearly and promised it the next day which I picked up the next day as promised. It was tidy and a well managed shop also, with the shelves fully stocked and plenty of range of items. I have used many other pharmacies in the past, such as your larger chains: Boots, Asda, Lloyds, etc. And can happily say from a smaller pharmacy this was by far the best service and experience Iâ??ve received. Anyone in the Canterbury/Kent area Iâ??d advise you use this pharmacy.

I would NOT recommend Cheadles. The senior staff/store manager should take a course in customer service as customer care and service is totally lacking ! They are only interested in taking your money!
