Wrong disk in box!
Bought a copy of NFS:MW for PS2 around Christmas 2023 from this Cex as it's a collectable item and I knew I wanted it long term. Went to play it this weekend and discovered a copy of LMA Manager 2007 in the box instead, as Cex staff gave me the wrong disk. £8 wasted and incredibly disappointed, receipt is long gone unfortunately as it was so long ago.

I had a brand new AirPods Max replacement under Apple Care because I had bought the USBC pair to replace them. CEX looked them over and graded them B, which was kind of expected as they?re known for lowballing customers. However, I wasn?t too fussed.
They told me to leave for 20 minutes for audio testing. When I came back, they told me they couldn?t accept them because there was splintering & damage on the cups, which wasn?t there before and was too noticeable to miss grading them.
Team member involved couldn?t have cared less if he tried and denied any wrongdoing.
I have filed a complaint on the CEX website, however depending on the outcome I will be pressing charges for negligence.

Clean your shop your all 4 of branches ur are very dirty I will buy you the cleaning products if your being cheap, and get decent higher management that have knowledge how to run a shop and treat the staff correctly and with respect. If your management feel threatened about a good management coming in a making them look stupid tell them to start working hard & better and stop palming job of to sales assistants, lead by example.

The staff have bad manners and an air of arrogance about them. They will talk to you like they are superior, it?s like they never grew up after sixth form. I?ve always been polite and respectful as I know retail is tough, now I?m tired of feeling disrespected and won?t bother coming back.

Whenever I go in there this one woman is always in there and I don?t think I?ve ever once seen her smile. She also seems to have some kind of grudge against PlayStation owners because she managed to find a problem with what was pretty much a perfect condition PS5 trying to be sold by someone when I went in to shop, along side all of these other reviews which clearly show the same thing. Strongly considering avoiding cex altogether until she?s gone or gets a grip because to have that monstrosity representing your shop is NOT a good look.

Took a PlayStation in here to sell, the woman at the counter checked it over and told me to come back in 40 minutes when they?d tested it. Come back to be told they can?t take it as the sides missing. However, the side was there when I bagged it and when she checked it over 40 minutes prior. Wouldn?t sell here!
