Had MOT done here today and was dealt with by Brooke & Leah. Both lovely girls and really helpful. Car initially failed MOT but problem was sorted and my car was ready to collect by 1pm! Also had a loan car which was clean and nice to drive and helpful so I could still get to work and do school run etc.thank you all at Canterbury Volkswagen!

Just purchased a used golf from Canterbury Volkswagen and Jake was absolutely amazing from the moment we walked in to the moment we left with the car today. He was very informative and did everything he could for us and listened to our needs. Even said any issues or questions the whole time I have the car to get in contact and he will assist.I cannot recommend this dealership and Jake personally enough to purchase a new or used car , absolutely amazing and I love my new golf ?

Have used this dealership for over two decades. Friendly reception , knowledgeable staff and great range of cars available . Special thanks to Alan Blackwell who has been a great point of contact when looking to buy or part ex a vehicle.Highly recommend this VW dealership. I would also like mention the great service team that supports ongoing service and maintenance to a high standard.

Contacted by Allan re an upgrade on current Golf. Arranged an appointment at 11am on Saturday . We arrived 8 mins late, apologised to the receptionist who contacted Allan to advise him we had arrived. At 11.22 no one had approached us and Allan wasn't around, we told the receptionist that we were leaving and she just smiled. Obviously don't need the business.

We have recently purchased a new car from Broad Oak VW Canterbury. We have had many VWs in the past and had a great service.Our car purchase from Broad Oak was outstanding from start to finish. A family run business who provide a personal and tailored car purchasing experience.A warm and friendly welcome from the staff and nothing is too much trouble. Abi was our Sales Advisor, who was not pushy at all. Abi certainly knows the VW brand extremely well and pulled out all the stops to find exactly what we wanted.Communication is second to none and Abi provided all the information we needed and kept us updated regularly.I would highly recommend Broad Oak VW and we will certainly be returning when our twins need cars next year.

Disgusting service!!! Doesn?t even deserve 1star!!!!!My 82 year old mum has a car on lease that runs out in October, my husband and I we?re going to pay the settlement fee of £14000.00 so she could keep the car as she loves it. Unfortunately a few bits have gone wrong with it this year so we paid to have them fixed for her. Last week whilst driving it an oil pressure light came on telling her to stop the vehicle and then the engine management light came on so she stopped the car as she was told. When she turned the engine back on so she could just get home the noises coming from the engine sounded like it was full of nuts and bolts and hardly any power which really scared her. I rang vw and the receptionist said that someone would call me back?..half an hour later nothing so I called them back to which I was asked if I had roadside assistance to which I said no and she told me to take some out and then the car can be taken over there to which I said I?ve got to pay for my car to be taken over to Canterbury from broadstairs as they won?t come and collect it , after I?d informed them my usual mechanic said it sounded terminal and not to drive it! She then put us through to a supposedly manager who first asked if we had warranty and when we said we wasn?t sure he said you it had run out then it?s up to us if we extend it to which I said we were never asked if we wanted too at which point he said there?s nothing we can do not his problem and to phone the finance company at which point I asked if he was being serious!!!! Now my 82 year old mum was getting very upset and stressed!!!! Customer service is shocking!!!!

My Arteon 2.0 TSI R line was serviced on Friday 28/4/23 and I dealt with Oliver and the service manager who I believe was called Gary?I must say that I have dealt with main dealers from many brands for the past 25 years and the level of service from Oliver and Canterbury VW was exceptionally good. Having dealt with Barrett?s Mini for the past 12 years who bend over backwards to give first class customer service I didn?t think they could be equalled but Oliver proved me wrong. He was exceptionally helpful, very knowledgeable and extremely polite and I did deliberately ask some tough and testing questions! He passed with flying colours, so well done Oliver. Would definitely recommend Canterbury VW to friends and family.

Both the dealership, and VW, are happy with the level of condensation in the lens of my 40k car. It is, they say, "Acceptable in an English climate". If you think this is acceptable, then please buy a vehicle here. If, like myself, you would expect something so reassuringly expensive to come with a commensurate level of after-sales care, and not look like a twenty-year-old Mondeo whenever the sun is out, then go elsewhere. Caveat Emptor people, and all that.
