Nice selection of pastries and a great place to go for a petit dejeuner. Seating is a little cramped but that also adds to the charm of the place.

Service was amazing. Atmosphere was good. The coffee not so much, giving very much syrup with room temperate milk. Paid a fiver for it. Wouldn?t pay 50p. Dunno how to feel but was kinda fun

Lovely place to visit. Had a nice almond croissant. Shame it wasn't filled with almond paste as we were told, but almond custard. Still quite nice though!

Lovely place, they make good very good coffee and the sandwiches are served with crisps. The staff is lovely and so is the garden, where you can eat.

Coffee weak and milky despite ordering an Americano, chocolate twist was tasty though. One of the staff a bit offish.Update post response: thank you for taking the time to respond which is genuinely refreshing. Regards coffee, I asked for an Americano when she took the order so if you don't do this type of coffee which is extremely common now, respectfully you should train your staff to advise customers which would avoid disappointment. I did bring it to the attention on payment and wasn't charged so thank you again.

Great place to stop in for a snack or lunch. Had one of the baguettes du jour which was tasty, the side of chips they give with it is a little skimpy though. Also as an aside they use traditional french bar soap in the toilets that you really need to...ahem...stroke...in order to wash your hands which I guess makes it more authentically french but I think is maybe a tradition that can be left in the past, felt a little gross/unsanitary for a public toilet.

I don't even know how much I paid for that Tesco waffle in a plastic bag that they just microwaved. If this is the top quality you are after, go right on ahead.

We enjoyed a much needed coffee, croissant and tart this afternoon after walking around the cathedral. The staff are so sweet and even warmed the apricot tart up for me and I had icecream with it - delicious. Relaxed atmosphere felt authentic and such a lovely change from chain cafes. Thankyou

At the end of a long day in Canterbury the lights of the café beaconed us in. We sat to the rear of the café savouring our hot chocolates, coffee and a variety of very tasty cakes and pastry?s. The choices of cakes and pastries was excellent albeit that by the end of the day many of the options had run out.

Great, unpretentious and good value French pastries, snacks and lunches with friendly staff in a busy cafe.
