EXPENSIVEE!!! Got quotes 3k to repair my car when another garage quoted me £950!! The staff were super lovely tho and they gave me the price within 2 hours unlike the other company which I waited 5 days for. Not the cheap option in town by any means.

We have used Autocare (Canterbury) for about 12 years and have always had excellent service. We have bought 2 cars from them, both cars continually used, never been left with no car, they have always dealt with whatever was required on the day. Excellent garage and service. We have 3 cars in our family and all 3 come here would not go anywhere else. My wife's Vauxhall Corsa came in for a service on 27/05/2023. Do no use as a woman on your own! I got charged for 2 hours labour (£108 no parts needed, a hinge realignment ) for a job I later found out would have taken 15 minutes. To top it off, the problem still wasn?t fixed, I contacted the garage but was told I now needed a part to fix the problem plus another hours labour, for a further £100. What I can?t understand is why this wasn?t mentioned to me, while the car was being worked on? I sent an email to say I felt I had been taken advantage off, but absolutely no acknowledgment. I suspect a man using this garage wouldn?t have been treated in the same disrespectful way.

Garage was able to fit me in quickly. However, they didn?t listen to me when I reported what was wrong with the car, they decided they had ?fixed? my car after repeating steps I had already taken and clearly didn?t test the vehicle properly. I felt as if I was talked down to and when I came to pick the car up I received some snide comments. I actioned their recommendations. Which lead to my car breaking down in the middle of a roundabout. Overall felt I wasn?t taken seriously.To follow on from this review I took my car to a different garage. Turns out autocare managed to miss a crankshaft sensor problem. More catastrophic than that, they didn?t diagnose a complete ECU failure- essentially writing the car off. Safe to say I wouldn?t trust this garage again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Warning! Read. It will save you the trouble!Do not buy a car from this company or any service.I bought an Audi A1 from a man posing as an old and harmless person. A wolf in sheep's clothing, no less. He advertised it on Autotrader for 6.600 pounds. A marvelous perfect gem that has no issues at all, he said. He kept telling me he was not a mechanic and that this was his wife's car. What a fool I was. What kind of thief invites you into his home so he can trick you?Fast forward. The next day the DPF light switched on, and my journey started.To make a long and painful story short! After four diagnostic checks at different garages, including the Audi dealership, which cost me 500 pounds. I found out the following:- The old man, works as an MOT technician and owns Autocare Canterbury. A Family-run business. This was the same family that sold me the car. Surprise!- They blanked the EGR valve because it was faulty and remapped the car's ECU so our OBD scanner doesn't find anything. It took me two months to find this out. It costs 900 pounds to fix.- They concealed with dirt that the car was hit in the front and cheaply repaired. After I washed it, I saw the damage. The wing needs repainting. 100 pounds.- I needed a new clutch after 2.000 miles only, 1.100 quid plus fitting.- The distribution kit, timing belt, and water pump that he ''changed'' couldn't be traced back on the receipt he provided. Probably another lie which will cost another 800 pounds.- He reverse-engineered the car's mileage like a pro. I got written proof. And God knows what might be wrong with this vehicle, and I didn't found out yet.This car would never pass an MOT check due to the missing EGR valve, but this company made it possible with its incredible trickster skills and devotion.They are dodgy people. I know they don't look like much but check them out on their website at AUTOCARE CANTERBURY. OUR TEAM. Don't be fooled like me. They are vicious criminals. And racist too. He was talking down on me and my friend, acting all superior. This should've been the first red flag, but we all learn from our mistakes. I hope.I think this is a clear case of fraud. I will see what the police have to say about it. I got all the evidence to back it up. And his fake receipts. And the phone conversations where he tells me he is not a mechanic but owns a repair garage. And a witness, the guy who tested the car with the OBD scanner before I bought it. Wow, that's a lot to get him where he needs to be.Stay away from this garbage garage and people!!!I hope this saves a soul from going through what I did.

I have been using Autocare for the past few years now. On every occasion my car has been serviced to a high standard with no delays. Their service is impeccable! Recently having a huge problem with my car which unfortunately ended up going back to the main dealership? Autocare helped me so so much. They recognised the problem, advised me what to do and helped me pursue things further with the dealership. Autocare do not con people, they care and understand the frustration and anger that we have when everything goes wrong. They are very very honest and what you see is what you get.
