Giving credit to staff member Gavin. Found his helpful and professional manner with customer service was excellent. I recently had to use DHL to forward legal documentation abroad. There were some difficulties with the counter device which didn't like the long address I needed to send the documents to. Gavin went out of his way to help. Really thankful to him.

This store is now an outlet store. I got some very good folders with slight imperfections and or damage for cheap price and then discounted in half. I would never pay 6.99. It will be a shame if this store goes as well as it will be the last of the thanet stores to go.
I like Smith's but less and less relevant in modern day Britain where all of us are counting the pennies.

Large store with plenty of stock and friendly helpful staff

Walked in and a staff members was collecting magazines at the front. She had some boxes stacked up to my shoulder height and threw a magazine across the infront of my face whilst i was looking at the display. Terribly rude. Maybe I should of spoke up and bought her inconsiderate behaviour attention but often not worth the backlash with this type of personality. Blonde dyed hair 50-60 years old. Candy is her name.

I am also giving it 5* as the algorithm will hide low scores and you will not get to see their incompetence - which they excell at....So the customer services contacted me about this review and Louise was very helpful alas the reply email had a typo and it bounced - so unprofessional like everything else - £land is looking a better option or Waterstones.Do not buy their charity cards - badly folded \ creased - only fit for the bin - will not be wasting any more money on replacements with them at the prices they are charging one should expect better - even the offerings from £Land are better made.
