It's massive. if you just need few tings l would not make a trip. Too many people, too many products, takes forever to find one thing - and who needs 7x types a washing liquid to choose from? Pure consumerism. You will overspend for sure.

I don't usually shop in supermarkets, they make me feel very anxious and I hate crowded places and I do a lot of my food shopping online and I get it delivered to my flat,I went in there today after I went to Bannatynes for my massage and it's shocking how rude some people are,I heard a woman moaning because I wasn't using a self service check out to pay for a basket full of food shopping,I don't like using those self service check outs unless I have someone with me helping me but that's none of her business,I suffer from anxiety and depression and I hate listening to rude people whinging,I bit my tongue because I haven't got the time or the energy for rude people,I couldn't wait to get out of Tesco extra and go home.

I popped in on the way to Broadstairs Beach, to get some snacks.
I was super impressed with the sheer size of the store, It?s huge and the layout actually felt logically set out, unlike some stores.
Only downside was queuing at the tills. The person serving me was very chatty and upbeat, which was nice.
Shame it?s not my local store.
Recommend.

1 star for this store all because of 2 members of staff..... 1 security man which is a bit fat and stocky he has a very rude attitude and not what i call a professional security guard which usually is there quite alot also this other male staff member he is very over weight and a shelf stocker who was also very miserable, rude and just appearing on the isles following me, my children and my disabled partner around the store which really was shocking , making us feel all very anxious, stressed, feeling very uncomfortable indeed and wont be going shopping in here again till i spoken to the main office about the staff member and 1 security guard.
we are very upset about that behaviour they did as usually every other member of staff know us and friendly,
but the 2 others so rude and not at all welcoming just shadows,
(talk about customer friendly)
myself , my ill partner with cancer and children will not be shopping here till it them 2 get a word about their rudeness, but other local tesco stores are lovely friendly helpful and welcoming and genuine such lovely people its just a shame about the security guard and that shelf stocker in this westwood cross tesco extra thats all they need telling off and a course to be taught about real customer service skills and respect
kind regards stella

I like this store but now they have parking restrictions, You can't have food at the café and do a monthly shop in 3 hours, when its busy you can spend an hour in the Café and half an hour queuing to get to get to a till, that leaves 1 hours 30 minuets to do the clothes department and a monthly food shop, Tesco your going to lose money over these restrictions.

Went into tesco cafe. It looks nice as you walk in . Was disappointed with the food. The sausages were cooked but only one side of the sausage actually looked cooked . Hash browns greasy, and my 2 eggs put on top of eachother and stuck together. And yolk hard. My misses had no eggs , and i expectedthe price to be slightly lower, but no . Quality of food was not great. Will not be going back .

Today my wife and I had our last ever breakfast at Tesco Cafe, Westwood Cross. We were always enjoying the quick meals and snacks until this morning. Cork dried vegetarian sausages, dried out bacon and oily hashbrowns took the biscuit. Sorry guys, you lost us for ever.

I normally love a Tesco, it?s where we do our weekly shop, however I wasn?t impressed with this particular store. In our branch the motorised and manual wheelchairs are kept right in the front of the store, which means they are easily accessible. Here though you have to go through the barriers and round to the right to get to them, this is quite far for someone with mobility issues. Even more annoying is when you have finished shopping and you have to go back through the main barriers to put the chair back and then back through again to leave.
Once you have a shopping bag this becomes even more daunting, luckily hubby was with me to help.
Sometimes it truly feels like companies put these aids in place just to tick a box that they are ?disability friendly? and no thought actually goes into how we might struggle.
