Popped in today to get my children new car seats for their grandparents car. The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us from start to finish meaning we could leave knowing the car seats were fixed correctly in the car and ready for use. Really great experience

Ordered some lego on line for £159 pounds. I was unable to collect within 48 hours due to work. They Cancelled my order i now have to wait 10 days for my money back and the lego is now £199. Contacted head office to see if i can still have my order but got fobbed off. One less customer.

Ordered a trampoline online to collect. Thankfully I was able to park near the entrance/exit. On arrival the store was very busy, I did want to look at a swing seat but the stock was too high and I could not locate a staff member so will look another time. In fairness a few tills were open so they can?t be in two places.Went to collect the trampoline, the cashier told me an assistant would be over soon to ring it out.I didn?t wait long, I wish I?d got the staff members name as he was very helpful, he lifted both boxes onto the trolley, told me which was the heavier of the two boxes (so I knew when I got home) and loaded them into my car, chatty and friendly tooPurchased on 20/03/22 around 3pm, hopefully he will see/hear about this as excellent customer service

Probably the best customer service I have ever received from a staff member called Geoff, who couldn?t have been more polite or helpful. Nothing was too much to ask and he helped us find the perfect car seat for my baby by giving us lots of information, allowing us to try each one and installed it for me too. Thank you so much.

Purchased an Xbox voucher by mistake, should have been PlayStation, realised within 24hrs so asked Smyths for an exchange. The answer was an absolute NO because of a code. You would think there could be a way to check a code had not been used but apparently not. Customer Service was patronising and said ?most people would not make that mistake?! Well I do humbly apologise for not being an expert in games consoles having never owned one! It was a genuine mistake and has lost me £30 so thanks for nothing Smyths.

Not a pleasant experience , booked a product and paid on the Thursday 14th via the web, went to the store 4pm 26th to find it had been cancelled, looked at my mail for same day to see cancelled 7.56am that same morning, assistant was not helpful, so got manager who did not have a clue on cancelled orders that had been paid for, he advised 2-3 days for money return as not actually taken by Smyths, the mail advises 5-10 days!

It?s big, particularly for small children. Daunting almost. Ok so it doesn?t have the unlimited supply we?ve grown accustomed to online. Don?t expect to find *everything* here. But it?s a great way to browse and find something you might not online.Be aware that this is essentially a warehouse (they do at least have a toilet at the back!) There?s no sense of childhood wonder that you might get at somewhere like Hamleys. No demos, no staff showing off new things. No sense of fun. As an ?experience? it?s about as great as a trip to a supermarket. But as a way of finding a toy in a hurry it?s good.

I went to the store a week ago doing research for a magazine, I noted the price on a sample of 15 products when I went back some toys products had increased in price by as much as £5.50 and one non toy buggy by as much £9. Only one person was serving with. 6 customers queueing in front of me and 4 behind me.
