Today they refused to accept my credit card, although I have always paid here with this credit card in the past. according to the owner, he no longer accepts credit cards, but only debit cards. i am not sure if this is a violation of the law, as anything can happen in UK, but I believe people should avoid such shops where businesses do not care about their customers. i will definitely contact the business ombudsman to find out if this shop has the right to refuse to accept my credit card. in the meantime, i advise all good people in Broadstairs to avoid this shop.

I tried to drop off a parcel, but he refused service because it was past 6 pm. On the Evri website, it says it's open till 9 pm. Went to another shop the same night and they took the parcel. I won't use them again.

Came in with my wife and our new born baby and the staff in there is the most rude people, made my wife look lstupid because they couldn?t articulate properly what they was saying because of their poor English. Close this shop, no manners at all to belong in this wonderful and polite area ??

I avoided this place for a few years because of the rudeness of the staff, especially the male staff. Thought I'd see if they'd learnt any kind of professional behaviour -- sadly not The post office area is extremely cramped and impeded by boxes of crisps and other items from the Londis and you get barked at whilst trying to figure out where to stand. Awful, miserable place. Avoid if you can.

A tragedy for the community that the one in Paydens is going, Londis is now the place for your postal needs. A cramped, flimsy single counter stapled between the vapes, fags lottery tickets, overpriced booze and overpriced sweets. A thoroughly dispiriting place.

Becareful I have only just read the recent reviews, wish I had read them earlier! I will not be visiting this shop again. I left my magazine which I had paid for on the counter. I realised this when I got home so I phoned. The person on the phone insisted I had put it in a bag I told her I didn't have a bag (my handbag was too small) she then changed it and said I had it in my hand. Of course its her word against mine. I will not be going back to this shop ever again.

What a horrible rude man I've had the unfortunate experience to be served by today, or rather not served. I took an Amazon return to him with QR code which clearly had him listed and he just shouted at me that he doesn't do Amazon returns anymore, when I said but they have you listed and showed him he just shouted more at me. I try not to use the shop anyway because they are generally rude, but this time even more so, which is why I felt I had to write a review
