I came across Sara on floor 1 and what could have been an inconsequential interaction with pointing actually led to me finding another couple of items that I would never have thought of (for my son's present) and Sara guided me to it with a beatific smile of someone who seemed to derive genuine pleasure from helping.

I just wanted to share my experience with Liz (I hope that was her name!!) when I went in. I am very new to sewing and decided to make a bag, Liz was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and gently guided me into buying the right fabrics for the job! She helped me set up a hobbycraft account as well so I could save some money and get deals! Thank you Liz, you?re a star !!

This is a very tidy shop with a great range of fabric. Even better than my usual store in Chelmsford. The staff were helpful and I'm sure if I'd had more time I would have bought more.

Not impressed with the attitude of some of the staff. Almost like helping customers was beneath them, or didn't want to waste their time assisting customers. Pity could have been a regular customer.

Wouldn't give 2 stars, only for the fact that there was an
admission of getting it Wrong, at the Till the staff couldn't get the store pricing & a refund for the customer right. The Customer isn't always Right.. no, but nor are the Staff.
