I am 87 my wife is 86 and we both recieve our medication via Boots High Street Broadstairs. You will appreciate at our ages we both require significant amounts of medication.
There is a fair amount of criticism of NHS but in know way does this reflect on Boots . Boots of High Street Broadstairs . Un fortunately my wife has Altziimers Dementia and I can quite easily get confused. No problem what so ever because the full staff are the most competent blessed with patience great product knowledge plus a smile and a welcome. And aways take full note of our medication and always prepared give time and assurances if I show that I am a little confused
Visiting is always a pleasure and leaving feels great with a clear mind and a wonderful service.
Feel very privileged to be on their books. Great back up on the poor state of the NHS and over crowded Doctor.

Small high street pharmacy but good for collection of prescriptions

Useless place always shut during the day. It?s bad enough they shut for lunch but to then shut again for god knows what reason is just plain inconvenient. The manger needs to get a grip. What store shuts for lunch this day and age. You?re hardly a small family affair it?s bloody boots. A lot of old pensioners rely on this shop and they turn up and it?s closed a lot.

Candice served me today and she was so patient with me as I couldn?t find my Boots card for several minutes. Thankfully I did find it as I received a discount on my tablets. Thank you Candice for your very patient service today.

On Monday 22nd July between 3-4pm I went into boots , my purchase was small and I used my points to pay . I realise dealing with us ( the public may have its challenges) but I just have to mention the customer assistant working in the blue uniform behind the counter needs more customer service skills .
Clearly serving was a hindrance to her , no greeting , no smile , no interest in the customer , I felt a self service till would have been more welcoming and appreciative, please take this as damaging the reputation of boots high street Broadstairs .

I always find the staff to be polite, friendly, understanding and knowledgeable of their products and common illnesses. I always go to my pharmacy before going to my gp. Faster better service! There is sometimes a wait to collect prescriptions but that happens in almost every chemist I've been to.

Never open, closed between 1-2pm even though stated otherwise on their website. Have never answered their phones, tried calling on different days of the week at varying times and the line just goes dead.

Staff don't allow the return of methol lozenges because they're "medicated". Riddiculous.

Staff are very helpful , just let down by the delivery service. Needed eye drops , as was unable to see out of it . Put a prescription in On a Wednesday an finally got it the following Tuesday as there was no delivery at all over the Easter weekend, despite being told they have scheduled deliveries.

Never open when stated on the door. Often closes at short notice leaving people in limbo re. collecting prescriptions. Quite often ignored by staff when waiting for prescriptions and seems to take ages, even once served.

Boots chemist in Broadstairs are absolutely amazing. They are so helpful, caring and compassionate to their customers. Thankyou for making a very challenging situation doable when I was falling apart.
