I've put 5 stars but my review is bitter/sweet. I've been using ASDA delivery since Covid because I'm a vulnerable patient. The staff are above and beyond. However, their Delivery System has failed not just the customer but their workers too. My orders are very large as this is my only means of food shopping. The tracking system hasn't worked now for about a month to six weeks! So not sure when shopping is going to arrive. The substitutes can be hit or miss, but at least you can return and are refunded immediately. You really need to get some help with your computer system guys! Its really letting you DOWN!

went there to meet a friend and went first to the Cafe where when I asked for a tea I was handed a tea bag in a dry cup and when I asked the bored assistant what I was meant to do with that I was pointed to a bank of boiling hot water boilers without a word and with a regal flick of a finger , when I went over what I saw was a serious danger to public health safety as there were hoards of school children buzzing about where boiling water was being dispensed unsupervised but at least it looked complicated so I didn't bother and sat down with my dry tea bag in what can only be described as a show room conservatory complete with plastic furniture , plastic utensils ,plastic looking food and people all of which looked like they had escaped from a grab a granny night or a Cliff and the shadows reunion concert and had all due to dotage had been dressed from a catalogue by GOk Wan in a hostile makeover or were involved in some wicked private bet , I decided I had had enough and went to leave where I passed a customer service desk where I waited over 5 minutes as the attendant appeared to be having language lessons in some obscure form of Sebo/Croat over the phone and when she glared at me for the 3rd time I made for the exit where a school boy was being dragged back into the shop by the scruff of the neck by two rather shop soiled looking security guards which astonished me to think that people would actually want to shop lift from a place like this but as most of the other shoppers looked they lived in door ways and should be modeling cardboard other than the type of attire that should not be worn next to a naked flame which they no doubt bought in Asda I suppose its not that surprising or maybe it was just another cheap tacky attempt by Asda to get even more out of control gutter snipes into the place the outcome of which I will never know nor would want to ever find out as I don't speak Serbo/Croat .

Big store with great clothing, good food and wine / ale. The staff are really helpful especially for a short sighted sod like me ! They take the time to help us and know theyre produce well. Oh and you have never seen so many mugs in your life ! ;-)
I can really recommend these two wines .. well worth picking up. Had to ask (yet again) where pastry was .. guy that helped me knew exactly where it was even though it wasnt his aisle :-)

3rd time in a year their Asda Hero 40 Pouches in Jelly Dog Food has had pouches with JUST jelly in (ie no meat). This box bought in there 3rd of Jan so far has 3 pouches that have NO meat in. I called the freephone number on the box, and got through to Indian call centre, she was rude and took 5 mins just to take my email address to offer a fiver back! This was one of the only reasons I was using Broadstairs ASDA, I shall now use Tesco sadly. It's 1 mile further but products are better quality.

Never had any problems up until recently. I spent over £70 on a home delivery and didn't receive half my order, which totalled around £30. When I asked for a refund for the missing items they told me they couldn't approve it, so they basically robbed me of money. I will not be shopping there again.

I generally like ASDA and use their delivery service. Today was a mess. My 7-8 am delivery never arrived. I called customer services call center multiple times and was strung along for hours, getting told my delivery was merely delayed and still on it's way up to 7 hours after my slotted time. Eventually asked to be put through to the Broadstairs store for cancellation and refund. The Broadstairs lady who spoke to me couldn't conceal her complete disinterest in my call. Put on an attitude like she had better things to do than arrange an order cancellation for a 7 hour late delivery. No apology. No explanation. No assurance that I'd receive a confirmatory email regarding the cancellation and refund. Yeah. Quick to take the customer's money but curt and dismissive when it's time to hand it back. Thank you Broadstairs ASDA

Decent ASDA. It's got a lot more stuff than Ramsgate's smaller store.
I respect the fact that ASDA (unlike Tescos & Sainsburys) have kept the humble CDs in stock despite many saying they're 'out-dated'.
It's overall accessable, however I must complain about the absolutely massive door to the ladies toilets. It's impossible to get in without using your bodyweight to push it open and it's even worse getting back out as you're stuck between two big doors. What's most infuriating about it is that the mens toilets don't have that problem.

I found the store and the shelves very messy
November 2024 by 2084Lar
No chicken portions other than one pack of legs and few whole chickens, lots of empty shelves, such a shame because this was my go to supermarket but supplies have been very patchy, whereas the small branch in Ramsgate High Street is always fully stocked.
