The team really looked after us for a private BBQ after a football game. The food was absolutely fantastic, everyone was so pleased and sitting in their beautiful beer garden really make for an excellent evening for us and for our guests we were hosting. Drinks service was incredibly fast considering there was more than 50 of us all arriving at once and everyone only had excellent things to say. Thank you Rene and team , special shout out to the chef's.

Popped into the Red Lion for lunch and ended up wishing we lived closer. I had the mushroom penne, he had the Red Lion salad ? both were spot on. Fresh, tasty, and exactly what you want from pub food. The owner is friendly, French, and makes you feel instantly welcome. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere, generous portions, and no sense you?re being rushed out the door. Worth a visit if you?re in the area ? even if it?s just to pretend you?re a local for the afternoon

As a family, we have been entertained at the Red Lion, many times, we had our wedding reception there and eaten there a couple of times in the last week. The food is amazing, waiting staff attentive, but not intrusive. Fabulous chef and Renè and Harry are wonderful hosts. Menu caters for all tastes, and whatever you choose will be delicious. Gluten free/ vegan etc catered for on request, and if you can manage a dessert you wont be disappointed. Many thanks for being in our village . Xx

Had a fab day and evening at the pub. Two good bands playing. Hardly a spare seat. We had a lovely bbq with Lamb Koftas, Steak & chicken skewers with plates of salad. Perfect.

Came here for a birthday! Sat outside. They have recently done up their garden as we came a few months previous (it was still nice) but wow the garden was absolutely beautiful. You could tell alot of thought and effort went into it!
We were a table of 8 plus two kids food came out quickly considering the size and amount of food. Staff were good aswell.
My mother has even drawn a picture of the garden i will see if I can post it <3

Popped in with some mates and had a great time in the garden, massive and properly lovely, perfect for a sunny pint. The fried calamari was spot-on and the grilled salmon with veg was cooked to perfection. Friendly staff, top food, great vibes. Will be back for sure
