I used to shop here a few years ago and donated quality items frequently. Unfortunately I've been priced out. I cannot justify paying prices for second hand clothing for regular high street brands which I can find in the sale by the retailer brand new for much cheaper! The manager of the charity shop must have had his cv rejected from the antiques road show because he has a magnifying glass which he inspects items which are usually not worth more than £1-2 and charge extortionate amounts for £10-15 for donated items from peoples holidays. What happened to charity shops? These were for people who can't afford new clothing and relied on donations. Now charity shops are business strategically put in place to pay manager salaries.

Sadly the shop in cliftonville suffers due to poor management, he takes decent items from cliftonville to sell in the Birchington branch as the customers are richer in Birchington. Also the cliftonville branch is more closed than open, they blame it on the people in cliftonville but no, it's definitely a greedy poor manager trying to milk people for the charity and the paycheck.Sorry to the people in Birchington but the manager knows you will pay more so overcharges you.

My family and I went into this charity shop today , they wanted £35 for a jumper , I thought she was joking , it?s an absolute joke! Better off going to primark! They seriously need to sort out there prices , I?m surprised there even still open with those prices ! The other charity shops in birchington were normal charity shop prices , so I?ll be avoiding this one like the plague in the future .

Lovely staff / volunteers. I browse here often but prices are outrageous for a charity shop.
