my mum is 85 and can never get an appointment. She has high blood pressure and cant get to see anyone. She is at a loss and cant use the apps or online booking and calling is hopeless. She is sad to see that this is what has happened to the NHS

Found a lump in my breast in first trimester of my pregnancy. Phoned surgery to make an appointment on a friday afternoon and was told by receptionist that earliest they could get me an appointment would be 2-3 weeks and that I would need to be seen sooner than that, so advised me to call first thing following week. Called first thing Monday 20th in que. 30 mins later got through, told them my situation. And said there was nothing they could give me today and to call back first thing tomorrow, Disgusting! I am pregnant with a new found lump in my breast! I know it's not the receptionists fault but the running of this place is shocking.Since then I have now registered elsewhere.Only used the surgery 3 times prior to this in over a year and every time almost 45mins late being seen for aappointments.

You cannot get an appointment even if you try and phone up dead on 8am. No point to having the place tbh. Its easier to get seen at Herne bay UTC or Deal than here!

I arrived at surgery mid day asking to see a doctor as I was in pain with a bad urine infection. Knowing that all I needed was anti biotics. The reception was empty, with just one receptionist at desk. I explained to her the problem, her reply was "sorry no appointments available you will have to go to Hern Bay.". Where was the rest of patients ?they wernt in the reception area. I had to get a bus to QEQM and wait for 5 hours to be seen. At 76 years of age I find this intolerable.

Rang the surgery at 9 am asking to see a GP was given an appointment for 10.40 I sat in the waiting area for an hour while others came and went before me while a mother and small child used the waiting area as a playground while having no regard for the screaming and shouting running under elderly peoples feet. and throwing Irresponsible mums keys continuously on the floornot a word from staff to advise mother that playtime was for outside .I had an urgent need to see a GP having explained to the receptionist on arrivalAfter an hour waiting I gave up and feeling I wasn't going to be seen I leftThis is the worst gp surgery that I have ever had the misfortune to have to use the feeling I got was the receptionists really couldn't care less ...

AWFUL SURGERY!! I was reffered for a lump growing and continuing to grow on my head 3 years ago... Yes I said "3 years ago". Every time I called to chase they just gave me QEQM switch board number which was no help at all. Let's hope it not CANCEROUS because they clearly don't care as long as their wages hit their bank accounts. Free help care is a waste of time and impossible to book appointments even calling as soon as they open. Don't waste your time here, you might as well do a self diagnosis on Google and have better results. Disgusted in the lack of care, I'd give you 0 stars if possible but unable to.

Couldn't get an appointment, so I tried e-consolt ,to be told by them that she shouldn't wait for there appointments as there booked till end of December and need to call gp at 8 call at 8 to be 13th I get all the way to 7th to be cut off I called again and was 30th and of course they have no appointments.

Trying to get a doctors appointment here is impossible they close portal requests and in the 2 years I've been registered I've never even had a medical or been told who my doctor is!

At the beginning of the year I had a mental health assessment which resulted in a refferal. I specifically asked for the refferal to be emailed to me as I wished to go private for faster results.In the past 2 weeks alone I have had to call 4 times to ask for my refferal to be sent to me. Each time I called I was told it would be done. Here I am after a 5th unsuccessful phone call and still without my referall.What is so difficult about sending an email?! If they are incapable of such a simple task it causes real concern as to what they are actually able to do.

Called 8 am for appointment. About 5 minute wait. Appointment 9.30 arranged. Needed blood test. Done 9.45 and meds needed available next door at pharmacy 5 minutes later. Excellent Thank you

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the reception staff at your Birchington Medical Centre. During my recent visit, I encountered a number of issues that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with the level of service I received. On top of that having read the other reviews it appears no action has been taken but the centres management off the back of these reviews.Firstly, the reception staff were obstructive and unhelpful. I attempted to explain the nature of my visit, but was met with indifference and a lack of interest. Despite my attempts to provide more information, the staff members appeared disinterested and unwilling to help.Additionally, I found the reception staff to be unknowledgeable and ill-equipped to handle my urgent matter. Their lack of training and expertise left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about the actions I needed to take.Furthermore, the staff members demonstrated a complete lack of listening skills, failing to pay attention to my concerns and questions. They seemed more focused on their own tasks rather than addressing my needs.Most concerning of all, despite the urgent nature of my matter, the reception staff failed to take any action, unable to read and clarify notes on the system. This lack of urgency and care has left me feeling extremely disappointed with the level of service I received.I am writing this in the hope that steps can be taken to address these issues and prevent similar experiences for future visitors. I urge them to take immediate action to improve the level of training and support provided to their reception staff so that they can provide a better service to your customers.

Have repeatedly asked for blood test results but nobody available to talk to you. Say they will phone you back but dont.Patients treated with contempt. One star because receptionist polite.

Don't even want to give one star. Call at 8am to get an appointment on a day I'm not working, sit on the phone for 25 minutes to be told all appointments have gone. Honestly ridiculous - and there's no way you can book for a day/time in advance. Not sure how you're meant to get seen if you're in full time employment.
